Really happy with this product. I have used this German company's contact shelf adhesive and now window adhesive and been very satisfied. Be mindful, this is not a window cling film, it does have adhesive on it. I didn't realize that when I got it, so repositioning is not easy and getting air bubbles out is not easy. It took me the better part of an hour to do this window. That said, it works! We won't need a curtain on this bathroom window. We have tested it in daylight and at night when it is dark out and the room has lights on. If you are within 4-5' of the window you can see a blurry color through the window. So, if you are wearing a red shirt for example, someone outside day or night will see a red blur, without any details or distinction to it. If you are more than 5' away you do not see anything at all, day or night. Measure twice, or thrice, and cut once, to make sure you have the right size, I overcut it by 1/2" on the length and height then trimmed the excess off after all the air bubbles were out, with a razor blade. That worked very well. If you find little air pockets the next day that you missed, just take a fine straight pin and pierce the bubble and press out the air, the pinhole will not be visible, use a straight pin which is very fine such as you would use to pin a hemline to sew. It looks beautiful inside and out. The images are fainter and more delicate than they look on the roll which has the backing paper to bring out to colors but we are very happy with it. I cannot say if adhesive would stick to the window or be difficult to clean off as I haven't removed it and don't plan on doing so. ... show more

    • Add privacy to your home without sacrificing light

To be honest I wasn't expecting to receive as great a product as I did. this window film is so much nicer than anything offered at the local Lowes or Home Depot for four times the cost. It is very easy to install, and looks wonderful when applied. The design blocks out anyone from seeing in or out of the window, but it is still sheer enough that it allows for natural light into the room. Our window film has been up for a couple of months now, and there is no cracking, peeling, bubbling, or fading. For applying this film to a window, you will need something to cut the film with, a squeegee or credit card to smooth bubbles, window cleaner to clean the window before application, and a mixture of water with a little bit of dish soap in a spray bottle to spray the window with before applying the film. Application takes one person less than 10 minutes, and the window can be used immediately. If you need a way to add some privacy to your home without sacrificing natural light, this window film is an excellent choice. ... show more

Needed to cover a window in a shower and this did the trick perfectly. I cut to fix in each of the 6 small panes. Easy to use and sticks well even if the window gets wet. Very pretty in the dark. Photos are of inside and outside with bright sunlight.

Very nice window film. It sticks well, easy to work with & looks great. I used it on 2 little side tables in my sunroom. They just had plexiglass on them & I put this on top of that. I also made a message board with some thin metal & used this to cover the metal. Looks really cute!!

Unlike the ones without adhesive, this went on absolutely perfectly. No bubbles or imperfections. The colors are subtle and beautiful, and it really does not look like something you stick on. I used my hands only to apply it, following the instructions otherwise. I used it on acrylic sheets.

We get alot of foot traffic outside our little condo. Neighbors coming and going all the time...along with kids of all ages. No matter the age though it seemed like every time I had the kitchen window or living room window open for fresh air people just HAD to look in while walking by...and the kids would just stop and stare in at the cats lol. One time I even heard a neighbor comment about if you stood in the right spot you could watch the game on 'the ladies tv' and he was standing 6ft from our kitchen window!! I had enough right than and there and came across several products but I wanted one 'simple stupid' no having to keep the window or window film wet and squeeze out air pockets and this fit the bill. I did both large window in less than 30 minutes. Yes the bright design is seen from the outside...what you see inside is very muted colors of the design but I knew that before buying and I do not care. Let the neighbors look at the pretty window instead of casing my condo if I have the blinds open lol. ... show more

    • Worked perfectly for some bathroom privacy without curtains

It does go on easy....if you know what you are doing. It seems most people don't since alot wrote that it was difficult to apply so here are detailed directions. Pre-cut a piece slightly bigger than needed. As with ANY decal or window tint, you MUST mix up a little soapy water in a spray bottle (1-2 drops of Dawn with 12-16 oz of water) and spray the glass until it is covered with mist. If the window can be pulled out of the frame and laid flat, it is much easier. Peel off the backing and place on the glass and slide it around until it is in proper position. Use a credit card to squeegee out the water and bubbles towards the edges. Trim with a SHARP utility knife then squeegee again with your credit card.     • Pretty Easy to Install

Had a 9" high x 70" long window, high on my bathroom wall. Wanted to do something with it. I have the aqua color accents in both my bath and bedroom. So ordered this. I expected to have to use water, etc. to apply it. But its just "sticky" backing. Took both of us to apply it, but now its up and looks great. I added some glass baubles in the center of the "flowers" and it really gives it a 3D effect. Also added some small vases (3) from the dollar store, filled them with the glass baubles and then put a pretty shell on top of the baubles.
