I got one of these CVLife redox sights to replace another brand that would not hold zero when tightening the lock screw. This one was delivered and all seemed good until I put a bore sight in. I lined up the red dot reticle cross with dot in the center to the bore dot sight at 10 yards. Then as a flip through the other three reticles I saw the single dot reticle did not line up with the other three reticle options, in both green and red. I left a low star review and was totally bummed out because I love this sight. CVLife contacted me a few days later and asked if they could issue a full refund or send a new one no charge and give them another chance. I ageed and received one the very next day. One again I lined up the bore sight dot to the CVLife red dot. This time all reticles held the zero. Thank God. I love this red dot and was hoping the first one was just a fluke. I’m sure it was. This red dot is amazing for the price. The brightness setting are perfect. Can see clearly on 5 in both colors on a bright sunny day. Everything about this feels well built and rugged. All the knobs are a little difficult to flip though but I think this is very good as it won’t easily lose the settings. I currently have this mounted on my Winchester Wildcat 22. And I will definitely buy another if I get another pee pew to put it on. ... show more

Package included sight, 2x batteries, manual, wrench Pros: Looks great Very solid and weighty feeling Very bright Easy to install and use Does not rattle Durable Holds a zero well Cons: All but the lowest brightness settings are too bright in low light Glass is incredibly reflective and difficult to see through at times This sight takes abuse well. I feel like I could throw it off of a hill and keep using it. Variety of crosshairs in green and red was nice. Feels good and reliably works well but occasionally was difficult to see through due to environmental conditions, but the different settings fixed most issues. Compared to a $200+ optic you'd find somewhere else, this is extremely cheap yet very customizable & well made. You have all of the basic options used expect+an intensity toggleable reticle+the ability to switch between 4 reticles. The optic is very clear also. The battery is located onto in a secure top that screws on. 2 batteries were included (CR 2030's I think). I'd highly recommend getting this before the price gets jacked up. ... show more

Bought this sight for my daughter. It was difficult to take a short distance shot with a 4X scope. This is perfect. Easy to set up and sight in. She’s using a Centerpoint 370 sniper. She uses the green dot. Only CON is, the dot covers a lot of the front of the deer at 40 yards. Better for 10-25 yard shots. ... show more

The supplied Allen key fit the rear bolt fine. It barely fit into the forward bolt head and after a few turns of the wrench, it rounds out the bolt making it useless. Contacted customer support asking for a replacement mounting bolt, no response.

Didn’t expect the item to work so good being priced as it is, ordered it to use while the main red dot is in the process of warranty replacement (over a month now). Was surprised with solid fit, clicking adjustment (it means the steps are fixed and position of the dot will not move even being used on a shotgun), green or red dot, different types of the dot. I've had a couple of red dots that were nearly identical to this for many years that was sold under a different brand name. They were about $20 each back when I bought them. They were a good value, but I needed a smaller dot with less of a parallax issue. (I was having an issue with accuracy shooting at a target that was about the size of the dot... at a longer distance). This CVLife appears to be identical except it seems to be a much more robust build and has a nice small dot (and less of a parallax issue). One little problem... when I got the dot adjusted where I liked it, and I used the small hex key to lock down the adjustment, it would change the windage about an inch (to the right, I believe). No big problem though. Knowing that, I just had to loosen it and adjust it the OPPOSITE way enough until it was hitting about an inch too far to the left. THEN... when I tightened it down it was hitting exactly where I wanted it to! Time will tell whether I will have an issue with battery life (I didn't have any problem at all with the old ones like this, but I always choose the simple small dot instead of the larger reticles... and that may help to decrease the rate of battery drain) I can hit the target with better precision now, the cost was NICE &LOW... and thus far I am very pleased! ... show more
