  • Soy Wax is non-toxic and cleaner-burning. Made with no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants, our candles are less likely to trigger allergies. Soy wax is vegetable-based, so it does not give off any harmful byproducts or produce black soot that can stain walls and curtains like the other leading candles.
  • Soot. Soy wax also has a lower soot level than paraffin candles, so you have fewer soot deposits. Soy wax does not release any petroleum-based chemicals, thus keeping your homes air quality safer.
  • EPA. Environmental agencies, like the EPA, warn against using paraffin candles, especially if you have anyone with respiratory issues living in your home. Even though the soot levels are low, the tiny particles can penetrate the lungs, which can be dangerous for people with pre-existing lung conditions.
  • Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and because of this, soy candles will burn slower and longer than paraffin candles. Oils evaporate better from a larger surface area and with the lower heat and larger melt pool soy wax creates a scent that will be that much stronger and more pleasant.

I have been looking for a clean burning, non toxic candle that also smells great and looks good. I’ve found it! The scent is beautiful and isn’t overpowering. The natural soy candle has very little soot, so doesn’t trigger my allergies. Definitely worth it.
