So I have a 1.7 cuft enclosure with 2 10" passive radiators that I built many years ago that had a Focal 10" driver in it. The Focal sounded great because well.... Focal. But recently it's little 250 watt capable coil gave up the ghost during an action flick so I decided I needed something that could take what the 1000 watt amp would throw at it and not get the $1600 Focal that would fit that bill. So I decided to try this based on decent reviews and a price that wouldn't bother me too bad if I didn't love it. Well, I love it. Not only does it handle the brute power of 1000 watts it actually sounds great both musically and for great movie bass intense action scenes. It sounds nearly as good musically as the Focal and better for Home theater application. It fit right into the opening of the old Focal 10" and I was able to wire the two coils (+,-,+-) to get the 8 ohms that the amp prefers. I would imagine the coils in parallel would probably drain a nuclear power station. But I'm very happy with the sound and may invest in some normal drivers for future builds for my home theater addiction. ... show more

on the outside, the sub looks great and is very heavy for a 12 inch subwoofer. The rating for 800 watts rms i think is a bit under rated but thats not really a bad thing. The foam surround is more like some of the competition subs ive seen, but without the huge amount of power needed. Performance wise the the bass hits hard and deep, but stays nice and clean. The thumps are hard hitting but not distorted. The push terminals are oversized which is perfect since you either be wiring to 2 ohm or 1 ohm. Overall what you get for the price is a very amazing sounding sub that will have people guessing if you have 15s or multiple 12s. I have mine paired with a Fosgate R2 Prime 750 ( with a birth sheet stating 936 watts ) and its been flawless. I would recommend this sub for someone wanting good hard bass without sacrificing trunk space or having to add battery banks or a HO altenator ... show more

Amazing sub, and great build quality. Wired it to 2ohms as a single and it outperformed my old 12in JL sub. Once i moved it to a dedicated CT sounds box it performed even better, have had no issues so far. Great value for your moneyZ

This sub hits super hard for what it is, got two of these in a truck style box in my ford ranger. Man I tell you it shakes the doors and just tears up my truck. You can hear these things from miles away (that's an exaggeration) Overall 10/10

I’ve had this sub in my truck for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it! This sub sounds great! It hits hard at low frequencies, but also sounds amazing and not over whelming at higher frequencies. Which is pretty difficult to find in a sub, especially in this price range. The build quality is excellent, and fits perfectly in my behind the seat box with a 1inch spacer.
