The ceiling fan is beautiful I give it 5 stars, I like the brightness and the soft light and the timer for the fan, but the installation and assembly was a nightmare from elm street 1 star. The instructions aren't in English and the video we found was 12 minutes long. Cookies to my wonderful husband he watched it 6 times. And he did a little at a time until he got it all completely assembled. He has the patience of Job, he will not be defeated. We had to call an electrician to install the fan. The electrician was having issues because things are so close with not much room to get the screwdrivers in position to work. So it took us 4.5 hours to connect it and it all runs by remote not the switch on the wall. Note it doesn't state that in the installation pamphlet. I recommend the fan because it is beautiful and a conversation piece. It's lovely in our living room and a thoughtful and practical Christmas gift for our new home. ... show more

I purchased this fandelier for its looks. It is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately it did not come with any instructions. It is a good thing that my husband is an electrician and could figure it out. I give this product an overall 4 because the company ended up replacing the original fan they sent us. The intial fan was missing internal pieces needed to hang the crystals as well as made a very loud sound (not balanced). The seller was responsive through emaila nd within 48 hours had shipped a new fan to replace the faulty one. The install is not easy-suggest hiring a professional. ... show more
