This mini fridge, is in fact, actually not that mini. At 4.2 sq ft, it’s practically half the size of your standard household refrigerator. It’s considerably light weight for being a fridge and fully functional as well. Both elevators in my building aren’t working at the same time, and my husband and I were able to carry this in a collapsible wagon up and down 4 flights of stairs. It’s small enough to actually store in a closet, meaning it’s slim enough but also because it’s a bit taller than what a stout mini fridge would be. The inner capacity of the fridge is amazing too. You can actually store quite a lot in here, as long as your food containers aren’t that tall. For both the fridge and freezer compartment, after grocery shopping in bulk, I always take anything I’m storing in the freezer, and store them in portion sizes of what I’m cooking in ziploc bags. This way, you’re not confined by awkwardly big boxes and containers, and you can store things flat and compactly in the freezer. So the size of this freezer still works well, considering how I pack it. The glass shelves in the fridge are sturdy feeling and makes the entire interior easy to clean. You can remove the shelves and custom make the storage capacity the way you’d like it. More locking mechanism isn’t something I’ll be using. But it’s handy for down living. I was very surprised at how large this 'mini' fridge is when it arrived. It looks great but has some excess glue here & there (not perfect quality). It's well packaged & easy to remove the box off from it (you don't have to lift it out of a tall box or anything). I love the American flag design on the front. It's pretty light weight for how huge it is. It is seriously just a smaller version of a regular refrigerator. The top door shelf is a little weird - it does not fit a can of soda (not deep enough) & still be able to close the door so the design is a little weird. I do like the large drawer inside. This would be perfect for a vacation home, dorm, man cave, she shed or apartment. The freezer gets really cold really fast (empty). I don't think the thermometer that came with it works because it read 60 degrees the whole first day and 50 degrees the second day. I appreciate the ability to lock the whole thing - great for a dorm! It's a little tricky, you have to slightly open the fridge door to be able to get the lever to swing up & 'lock' (it's best if you kneel down & watch it between the space of the 2 doors). The fridge took a little while to get down to temp, but it does a great job keeping beverages cold & it holds a ton of them. My only complaint (other than 'locking' it isn't as simple as it probably should be) is how loud it is, all the time, not just when the compressor turns on. It's fine in the other room but if it's in the same room you sleep in or hang out in, it might be a little annoying if your hearing is sensitive. It's not really loud but in these modern days that appliances are almost silent; this fridge definitely isn't. There is a humming sound all the time. I thought it was a bit overpriced but now, after seeing how huge it is, I think it's a pretty good price. Works great - I recommend. ... show more

Nice little fridge. This is a great little extra fridge. We use it in our master bedroom for extra drinks and storage. It will be extremely helpful during holidays or events when everything doesn't fit in our regular fridge. Freezer is deep enough for a handful of overflow items or ice packs that don't fit inside. We set the dial to 5 and seems to be a good temp for fridge and freezer items! ... show more

This is a terrific mini-fridge. Solidly built, and LOTS of space inside. It's got storage in the door, which is a nice bonus, and having a freezer is a big plus! This will hold a lot. I like it because I do lots of cooking, and sometimes I need fridge space to hold projects temporarily. I like having this as a backup to my kitchen fridge. Really cute flag design, and totally solid construction. This isn't a cheap mini-fridge, it's truly like a miniature version of your kitchen fridge. Well worth it. ... show more

This fridge is nice. It came in on a truck, so of course I let it sit for around 12 hours before plugging in. Once I plugged it in I checked it an hour later, because I'm like a child on new things... lol.... and the freezer was actually cold. I use this for adult beverages, and have a thermometer in there, and it's a nice 35° F. Drinks are cold, but not to cold. I have 2 things I don't like about this, why 4 stars not 5, I think the stars are upside down, so it looks weird to me. The second thing I have an issue with is the lock on it. I love the idea of the lock for someone who lives with others, but on mine the hole on the freezer does not match with the locking mechanism, so if I really needed to lock this, I can't. Other than the stars and the lock, this is a well made fridge. Just so people realize how big it is, it's about half the size of a regular fridge. ... show more
