You may need a different brush like a boar's hair brush to work products into your hair evenly or to put some shine in your hair. This is my 4th or 5th Cricket brush in a row which means I've been using this for near 20 years. The product quality has never wavered. All my brushes have lasted about five years or so. I love this vented brush. It’s my second one. The tips eventually fall off but it’s been many years and I waited too long to replace it. You can get amazing style control when blow drying hair. It is lightweight and durable.
