I have two sets of tires I swap out for winter and summer use, and this compressor makes that job far easier, especially when combined with a pneumatic air wrench and a pneumatic jack. There was no extended warranty available. Now I know why. At about 90 days after the purchase date this compressor stopped working & couldn't be restarted. The Amazon customer service person said that I could return it at my expense & get a refund less about $105.00. She suggested that the manufacturer's limited 1 year warranty might be a better option & gave me their phone number. All they would do was to send me the 2 plastic parts that fail "most frequently". I paid a local repair man $50 to place them. That didn't work. I called Amazon & said that I was now willing to accept the refund offer. A very rude person said that it wasn't possible that I had ever been offered a refund & refused to do anything at all. It makes a very expensive doorstop. ... show more
