Top Amazon Reviews

  • Great quality, well worth it.
Style: Compressor & Tool Kit Only
I needed to finally invest in a good brad nailer and a good smaller compressor. I needed both to do trim work and other various fragile nailing projects as well as just needing a small compressor for various quick jobs. This combo obviously fit the bill. I've long been a fan of craftsman for various tools/products but have always been a bit cautious about buying tool combos as I've read some pretty terrible reviews regarding tool combos being utter garbage. I mean just look at how bad the nailer reviews can be on one of the biggest names in air tool (Bostich) combos. I went ahead and purchased this combo based on the many good reviews from not only Amazon but across the web.....yes folks there are other reviews out there besides just Amazon :). Anyway......this kit came boxed in its own box and also in another unmarked box which I appreciate especially if its going to be delivered on the porch or by the garage for would be pirates to grab. After unboxing and reading the instructions, I was driving nails within 15 minutes. The tank fills quickly, nails load nice and smooth and the gun can put an 18g 2" brad nail through a trim piece into a stud with no hesitation. I did have a little slight trouble getting it dialed in for the depth but once it was there it held just fine. Filled the tank in the garage and carried it to my trim project with 0 issues as its very lightweight and easy to maneuver. Did crown, floor and other trims on 1 tank no issue.....that was 1 large room. So, portability is great, gun works great with no jamming and made quick work of something that would have taken alot longer doing it with a hammer. ... show more

  • It scared me!!!
Style: Compressor & Tool Kit Only
I’ll be honest… I plugged it in and it started up. It got to about 120 psi and I freaked out a little and unplugged it. I was thinking it should have cut off in the 75-90 psi range. I googled what the cut was, because there was no adjustment. I’m used to the older compressor obviously. Long story short… I’m a dummy. The compressor cuts off at 150 psi, like it’s supposed to. So if you wonder when it cuts off… It’s 150 psi. At 90 psi, the nail gun works great with 2” 18 gauge brads. Just don’t forget to pick up some pneumatic nail gun oil. The air hose is only 15 foot, so you’ll have to take the compressor into the room you’re working in… but that’s not a horrible thing. With a tank of 150 psi air and only using up to 90 psi… it doesn’t cut on that often. All in all… a great buy. ... show more

  • Easy to use, nailgun works very well
Style: Compressor & Tool Kit Only
I had simple needs in mind when I ordered this, but I'm pretty sure I'll use it a lot more than I expected. The compressor is easy to use, and not as loud as I expected it to be. I can get a lot of use out of the nailgun before I have to charge the tank again which is nice. It's easy to drain the tank for storage as well. As others have noted, screw in the drain plug on the bottom before use - that step is not clear in the manual. I recommend this for anyone looking for a simple tank to use for home projects. ... show more
