Much stronger than the shorter version. I purchased both the extended and standard version for my son who works on his Subarus. I am not certain why, but the long-reach version is a lot stronger. Great for the reach, but short enough to still work on the brakes of my truck. I've been using Milwaukee battery tools since the 80's.
