Much stronger than the shorter version. I purchased both the extended and standard version for my son who works on his Subarus. I am not certain why, but the long-reach version is a lot stronger. Great for the reach, but short enough to still work on the brakes of my truck. I've been using Milwaukee battery tools since the 80's.     • Long reach is a lifesaver
This ratchet has the extra long reach. It has saved me time in being able to reach hard to get to bolts in tight spaces. Battery life is a lot better than I thought the M12 would be as well as more power than I expected for an M12 battery powered tool. Love this
