Don't let the size throw you off. When I first opened the box and took mine out the size kinda took me for a surprise. In fact I almost immediately started to re-box it to send it back. (Is re-box a word or something I just made up? Oh well today it is.) But then I thought what the h*#$ I might as well try it out since it's unpacked. (That's the word I needed a minute ago. Repackage. I'm still going with re-box.) It works extremely well. The folks that say it's really loud aren't exaggerating. In a closed garage or shop it is loud. But no louder than a bigger one. It says it can operate a brad nailer and a nail gun. With the capacity to shoot 16 gauge, shiny bright,16d whatever you want to call them. It runs my brad nailer no problem. I haven't bought a nail gun yet but it's on the top of the list. Will update after I get one and see if this thing can really run it. Pleased and pleasantly surprised with it so far. And I like that I don't have to keep an eye on the oil as it doesn't use it. ... show more

I wanted something small to blow out my air filter on my vacuum. I bought a pistol grip air gun with a very small tip. You pull the trigger on the air gun to blow out the filter and the air tank in empty almost instantly. It takes 4 times of the tank filling up to blow out a 7"×3" filter. Might be great for a finish air nailer where you are only pulling the trigger on the tool every few minutes. ... show more
