We ordered a couple options and this one has the most realistic logs and flames and the space heater is so cozy! We weren't using our propane unit because of the smell...pulled it out and set this unit in its place and have used it non-stop. You'll love it!

Our modular home has a lovely, rustic wood burning fireplace, but apparently they are just for show..have been trying to decide the best thing for supplemental heat and ambiance. It took awhile, but finally decided to look at an electric log insert with heater. We decided on the Country Living 20” log insert set, mostly based on reviews, which were excellent; so glad we did, as it is perfect..not too big, not too small, so realistic and beautiful! It gives off a warm gentle heat, which is adjustable, and feel so good! It is heavy enough to be substantial, but light enough for ease of placement. So easy to install..just set it in, plug it in and turn it on..remote works great! What more can I say..we considered a more costly one, but reviews had a few consistent threads that were concerning. I reduced the rating to four stars because the stated dimensions of the product are short of the actual ones. That's a huge problem if you're trying to fit a small space like I'm doing. A half inch wider than stated and almost an inch deeper, both are problems that make it not fit the enclosure it was purchased for. If I can't find a way to make it fit without extraordinary effort, it will have to go back. ... show more

I was not sure this was what I wanted but after I installed my insert I was extremely happy. It looks just like a real fire with Glowing logs. The heater is nice and it puts out a good amount of heat. I would highly recommend and I give it a 5 star. Easy to install with no problems.

I am using this in an old firebox after removing my old gas fireplace insert. I could only fit the 20" size in my fireplace insert as the insert narrows in the back.. It gives a good amount of heat to warm up my 11 x 22 x 10 foot ceilings room about 5 degrees within an hour or so. My only wish is that the cord were longer because I have to use a 6-8 foot 14 gauge heavy duty extension cord to reach my outlet which is not ideal for safety. I only use this when I am in the room because of my safety concerns. Fireplace logs are the best I found for a real wood look and the flames flicker nicely against my fireplace back wall light colored bricks. I love this so far. Hope it lasts for many years. It is 21" in front, 20" in back , 9" deep and 13" height. The cord is 3 pronged and about 5' long and comes out right rear of unit. Overall I am very pleased. ... show more
