Only con is nowhere to keep ice scoop as on other models. I don't like the idea of storing the ice scoop in the basket when not in use. (So just wash your hands before handling the scoop.) This works really well. For a larger quantity to fill a big bottle of iced coffee, I just run the ice maker before I take a shower. First round or two of ice is not as solid frozen as the later "cubes". Other reviews say they melt fast, which is true. I tend to drink soft drinks quickly, so I haven't had an issue with it. It is nice to not have to handle ice cube trays anymore. It's pretty quiet and I can't think of it disturbing anything except a dead quiet house trying to let a baby sleep. Food and safety inspector said to let air dry frequently to prevent any yeast buildup. So every week or two at the very least I drain it and let it air dry ... show more

This handsome and compact machine is the perfect size in our RV. It is very easy to use and replenishes our ice supply quickly. Sometimes the new ice being transferred to basket sounds like a knock at the door, but otherwise very quiet. A wonderful addition keeping our drinks cold.

I love it! Wish I had bought it way earlier. I bought it at end of summer of 2024. I don't have an ice maker in my refrigerator. Easy to use. Not very loud. Works quickly. If I don't use all of the ice, I just let it melt back into the bucket to be used next time.

I got this little machine for my daughter, and she loves it. The size is perfect for a small amount of ice. It makes good amount for personal use. I guess if you need ice for a party, you need to go to the stores and get more. But for an everyday use it is just perfect.
