I like my air fryer however, I do like deep fry once and a while. However, I don't have the space and I needed something small that I can put in a cabinet and not run out of space doing that. I picked this one up, for size, however, I also picked it up because of the 1700 watt element. This has enough heat to flash fry cold fries, and fry up perfectly, without heat loss, just awesome. I do like how it has the vent in the lid, where it keeps the oil from being airborne and still fries the food, perfectly safe from hot oil splashes. And I do love how it comes apart, where everything is dish washer safe, except for the element, of course. Which doesn't need cleaning often anyway, a wipe down will suffice. I do like that for 1700 watts, it has a good solid high gauge power cord, where that makes a difference too; and safe. I also like the larger fry bin, where it holds a good number of fries, chicken nuggets and even onion rings. Another quality perk, is that the stainless steel stays untarnished, and a quick wipe and its like new again; a sign of quality stainless steel.     • Piece of Junk. Product worked great 3 times, yup 3 times, then wouldn't work.
I am contacting seller to find out what the warranty is on this product. Bought March 2020, tried it tonight, February 28, 2021, product doesn't work, light would come on, element would heat. Only used 3 times. Had to make french fries in pot. Just not the same. I will be totally dissatisfied with this product if they don't replace it. Will contact seller to see what they will do about it. Contacted seller, yup it just past the 1 year date and they said, "oh well" it's not covered under warranty. Didn't bat an eye that it was only used 3 times. Position was stated, "Out of warranty". Buy this product use it at your own risk. Should have known for the price I was getting a Chinese made POJ (piece of junk). Next time spend the money on a higher quality unit. ... show more

Honestly this is a great deep fryer. Easy to store,clean, and fry food! Instruction book wasnt really usefull as it didnt even mention how to turn it on. It said there was a black on/off button but there isnt for this model. ( Its like a toaster oven basically. Set the temp then turn on the timer to whatever) Aside from that it frys things perfectly!! My last deep fryer would explode cheese sticks. This one cooks them at such a perfect temp that even when i left them in a lil to long they didnt explode! Its a really decent size and the viewing window is nice. Breakdown to wash is super easy and being dishwasher safe (except coil of course) is even better! Overall would definitely recommend. 5/5 ... show more

So I was looking for a good bargain brand deep fryer. I used it for quite a while however I did notice that the dial temp and timer display started to wash away or fade with the first wash or wipe down. I ended up having to take a picture to of the temp and timer display as the settings eventually vanished completely. Unfortunatlely in the end the control box to the heating element started to smoke and burned out. ... show more

Easy to use, I really like it . I have to drop the oil after fry the food before, but I can keep it and use couple times now. Easy to set up the timer and temperature. Also the size is perfect for the family use.
