I was sick of having a toaster oven and a 2 slice bagel toaster on the counter so I finally bit the bullet since my toaster oven, which was a tad bit bigger than this one, was acting up. Wow I can't believe how great my toast and bagels toast in this oven. I've used it as a airfryer for tator-tots and they were nice and crispy in half the time. I've baked biscuits and they turned out great. I make quesadilla's in here using the toast setting which seems to work perfectly but maybe I'll try other setting to see if it can crisp even quicker (LOL). I didn't like the fact I couldn't (well I didn't see it anyways) turn it off so the panel didn't keep blinking waiting for something and plugging and unplugging seemed ridiculous to have to do so I had a spare wireless plug that I have ALEXA turn on and off when I tell it. ... show more

It cooks well, looks good, easy to clean, and overall can fit 90% of meals to cook in it. Heats up fast and heat is dissipated from top of oven. Which to me is good as I have it in open counter. Manual controls are easy to use. Overall good oven experience. The reason for 4 stars is the Alexa integration. The feature is dumb as a rock. You need very specific questions to ask Alexa for time remaining, or oven temperature: "Alexa, when is fhe food done in oven" or "Alexa, what is the target temperaturein oven". Besides that, there is nothing else to really use with Alexa besides a notification that food is done. Also, if you use the VeSync app to turn on oven for preheat, you still need to go touch the power button. I get is a safety feature, but now you just have an app for a glorified timer and cook book. So might as well just use as regular oven, and google any recepy you want. Do not buy this oven for smart home integration, you'll be very disappointed. ... show more

so far its been good, but Im a person that somehow always finds something that can b improved on no-matter what product or service is being provided. with tat said, improvements that can be done are having some sort of rim around the door to minimize heat escape. improvement that can be done is to implement the ability to override the current device status and count down, in order to customize the cooking setting. ... show more

I love the MANY function settings and air fryer basket, rack, and cooking/baking sheet. Don't really use the rotisserie tools. I make toast, airfry things - or use the airfry to crispy left overs, make several things on bake mode. It does cook faster then the instructions on bags or boxes of items though, so lessen the cook time. It lights up with about a minute to go so, when I see the light come on, I go look at it and decide if I do need to add more time. What I don't like it the two dial system. I always end up turning and pushing the upper and low multiple times to get the right cooking mode I want and then usually, will click the bottom for the temp (then turn the upper knob to get to your selected temp) and then most times I click the top accidentally next. You are supposed to push the bottom dial a second time for setting the cook time, and then turn the top dial for the cook time. Then press the start button. So, I am pressing and turning dials back and forth, when in a rush of course and it takes multiple attempts to get the temp and cook time set up. It took us forever the first time using it to figure out how on earth to turn it off, we ended up unplugging it! If all else fails, read the directions as they say! lol (Once you are done using. You press the cancel button or the cook cycle ends, and you have to press in on the bottom dial until the screen goes dark-then it is turned off). It is my first countertop oven, and it is so big, that we can cook just about everything we would in the big oven. It saves us from heating up the living room/house in the hot seasons and electric bill. So, I will be doing a sticky note when I get home. My other half will never attempt to use it, for nothing but, toast. So, if I do the sticky for both of us, they will probably use it too all the time. ... show more

    • Air Frying will cause excessive cleaning

I am new to toaster ovens and air frying. I did much research before buying this unit although I do not use the phone app since I am technically challenged. It took a couple of tries to figure out the manual mode, but I got it. I wanted to air fry my Brussels sprouts so looked at the recipe that came with the Cosori. I immediately realized that if I did it the way the booklet suggested I would have spices, bacon drippings, and parmesan cheese dripped on the bottom heating elements, as well as, the top and side walls. No wonder so many of the reviews complain about the cleaning immediately after use. Baking the Brussels sprouts they came out delicious. I recommend looking at a lot of You Tubes for advise on cooking in an air fryer. Grilled cheese comes out great. There is definitely a learning curve. It is irritating to hit the start button twice in order for it cook. Hit once for preheat and again to begin cooking. then there is the issue of time. Almost everything has to be turned at least once. I have to set the timer for longer than I want in order to turn the item cooking in a timely manner. I have resorted to using the time on my range top to let me know when to turn an item. I have used it for Salmon, Flounder, and shake and bake pork chops and chicken. Roasted vegetables and garlic toast comes out quite nice. With that said I love the look of the unit and am pleased with the bake feature. I was afraid it might get too hot on the countertop, but that is not an issue nor does it get too hot under my cabinets. Yes, the unit gets hot like any toaster oven, but seems to be contained mostly the the unit itself. Overall I am pleased with it and just need to get brave enough to try all the features. ... show more

We bought this to replace a recalled corsiri air fryer. It’s pretty big and it takes a while to figure out. However, it does work well but it gets hot so be careful.
