This is nice for people applying thermal paste for the first time, because it takes away the guess work about how much to use. There is some waste though. It also works better than the paste I previously had. Average temps at idle are down between 1 and 6 degrees C, depending on which measurement you're looking at. See pictures. The previous paste was Tuniq TX-2. It should be noted that after you own this kit, you can buy just the paste separately going forward. The CPU is a 5950x, and the cooler being used is the Ice Giant Prosiphon Elite. It's housed in a Phantek Enthoo Pro case with fans in all available places. ... show more

The whole kit isn't really worth it. It came with a one time use stencil that doesn't quite fit big intel chips aka lga1700 and the spreader is just a plastic card. Save some money, either just get the paste and use an expired card of some sort for a spreader or buy a different but similar performance paste. It's good paste for sure but there are just as good, cheaper ones available. ... show more
