This works very well especially for the price. Make sure to dilute the paint down and it works like a dream. I love all the low star reviews about no battery as it clearly states tool only and battery not included several times. I have several 6.0AH Batteries and it is still light enough.

We purchased this for our small painting project after reading the reviews. It doesn’t work as a paint sprayer when used with a typical indoor or outdoor paint. If you are using extremely thin viscosity paint (ie: water-thin), it should work fine. What it did for us is to increase the project budget by about $46. It works so poorly, it makes one wonder how this tool gets so many good reviews. ... show more

This is ready to use right out if the wrapping with eyobi batteries. The paint cup is much easier to screw on than the original ryobi sprayer. The spray pattern is smooth and even with no sputters of paint. This made spraying teak sealer ok my team furniture a breeze and was very easy to clean with mineral spirits afterwards. For someone like me who is not very handy but Li li Es yo takes on projects, I very highly recommend. For an experienced painter, I can personally say that this will outperform most of the mid to low end sprayers at home depot with very little overspray and spray back ... show more

This sprayer works with the battery fine but the spray pattern is probably more suited for staining a fence. If you need any kind of detailed spray without splatter, my experience was not very good with this unit.

I was amazed how light and easy to use this sprayer. The price was great, even if you are going to only do one project. Does it do as good of a job as the air sprayers that I have rented, not even close in my opinion, but I was not very good with those big bulky tough to use systems. There must be a learning curve that I never achieved. But for the person doing a project at home, a fence, deck, etc., very easy. Now going inside, no need for power, a big tank, just click in a battery and go...granted, you will need several batteries. It is somewhat of a power hog. A full battery makes huge difference on the quality and speed of getting the job done looking right. Fortunately I have acquired four batteries. I found rinsing out the nozzle every battery or every jar of paint was easy and made the job much faster, cleaner and better looking. But no hassle cleaning and ease of use make this a great choice for most projects that don't require a professional looking job...or you need more skill than I am willing to acquire. I have no idea. I do very few projects, but having decent equipment makes it go so much faster that I am willing to do more projects ... show more
