Exactly as shown. I have these Allesin shades, (two 46 inch wide, beige-white blackout shades side by side) in a large window and they are just as pictured and so easy to use. Just a light touch on the clear plastic handle in the center of the bottom of each shade moves the shade up or down. My husband installed these the day they arrived before I got home and he says they are super easy to install. I was reluctantly to part with my old metal venetian blinds I had in this spot until I found my doggie caught and choking on the cord! I ordered these blinds that day and I am really happy with them after using them over a week. They block the light better than my old venetians. I am amazed at the reasonable price on these too . It was either this or residential tinting. We got quotes for the tinting and really considered it but in the long run these are single pane windows that’ll eventually need to be replaced so I looked for cellular instead. We used different screws than what it came with because these frames are old wood so we chose different ones so not to split the wood. They are Fully blackout for sure. Measurements are on point. They seem heavy like they’ll last a long time. They do keep the room cooler too which is the best part. It’s been in the mid 90s for 3 weeks and if we leave them down all day and leave the house, we come back and notice the room doesn’t feel warm. Will be taking down the old curtains now that we’re happy with these. I’ve had several family members come over and see the difference and all of them have wanted the link to order their own. We will probably get more for the other big window which will have to be outside mount so we’ll see how that goes but these were easy to install so I’m not worried about it. Curious to see how the tension holds up over time with a bunch of pulling but honestly this is still better than $2000-$3000 for tinting one window. ... show more

This is a review for the Blackout Cordless Window Shades Cellular Honeycomb Shades Room Darkening Pleated Blinds for Windows in blue. I had looked at them in the winter, to keep out the wind, but was worried that they looked like they were made of paper. When they went on sale, I bought two for my kitchen, where I'd had roman blinds before (which had cords and broke), and assumed I'd have to ask someone to help me install them, since I don't have a power drill. But the bracket holes lined up with one hole on each side that had already been drilled for the old shades, so I just put in the screws to hold in the brackets, then popped the shade into the bracket (it will make a snapping sound when it's in place). I just use the white bottom part to pull them down or push them up; I didn't bother putting on the little plastic pull handle. And I love them! They do keep the summer sun out on hot days, and most likely since the side facing the window is white, they aren't absorbing the heat. The fabric is extremely thin and feels like paper. The description says the shades aren't water-resistant, so I'm careful to be sure not to have the window open below the shade, so they won't get wet when it rains. They look great and keep out all of the sun, since I bought them large enough to hang outside the frame of the window. I don't know if they're durable, but hope so, since they look very nice. These were a bought on a good Prime Day discount. Bought to replace very good cellular shades from HD that were one year old. Those were for privacy only (non-room darkening) and allowed too much light and summer solar heat to enter the bedroom. These came in perfect shape and installed easily. The action/functionality on these are not nearly as good as the HD ones. These were rebounding back up a few inches, so they forced be to extend the shade about 6" longer than I wanted, before they settled at the windowsill. Same for the manual raise - unlike my one hand retraction needed for the HD blinds, these are fussy, requiring a more deliberate two-handed and slower push back up. For the $, especially on discount, these are a solid bet, but if you want/need better, stick with HD or more premium shades. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the gray/white in hopes they would still work with my color scheme but have a better chance of blocking light than just white. They've only been up one day, but so far it seems as though the blinds are of excellent quality. Took about 5 minutes to put up. They look nice and work perfectly. Aside from the slight gaps around the edges, it was dark as night during my son's mid-day nap today. I also like that they come with clips for a little handles. Definitely recommend- only improvement could be a better price. ... show more

These are great. They were super easy to install, they sit tight within the window frame, and they’re so dark, we see no need to couple them with black out curtains. I’m replacing the blinds on our other rooms with these.

All four of the blinds stopped working after about a month. They don’t raise anymore. I’ve never experienced this with other blinds. Waste of $200 and my time installing them. Have no choice but to replace. BEWARE!!!
