I'm glad I chose this one! It works great, picks up all the sand and leaves. I wish it could pick up the algae, but that just goes through the filter. The suction seems to be great. I had a ton of leaves and it was able to pick them up. The charge holds long enough for me to do the entire pool. The only issue I have is how short the handle is. I use my extension handle but the tabs that hold it done seem long enough so I've had the vacuum fall off into the pool a couple times. It could be my extension that's the issue. I love this pool vacuum! The only reason why I have it 4 stars is that I wish there was an easier way to pull out the waste compartment after you use it and you need to clean it. Other than that, it does a great job cleaning my above ground pool and it picks up everything including leaves! This vacuum works wells, the suction is powerful. Is easy to use. However after I vacuumed I noticed my pool was leaking we have a above ground metal frame pool. Turns out when I was vacuuming it ripped my liner. Very disappointing. We only had the pool for 2 months now the liner has a small tear. Be careful using it around the edge ... show more

So I ordered this because our current pool pump just doesn’t have the suction needed to get the large debris off the bottom of our 10ft pool. Our pool is under pine & oak trees not to mention the squirrels. It has been a daily struggle on to keep the pool clean. I took a chance on this vacuum and I am happy I did! I received this vacuum in the mail, charged it overnight and went to work. I must say it didn’t even feel like work! The suction is great! I was a bit leery of clogging it up so I cleaned the filter pretty often. Which is very easy. I did the shallow end one day and the deep end the next. I am not one to write reviews but I felt like other people in my situation would appreciate the knowledge. This thing works! It is advertised as an above ground pool or jacuzzi vacuum but it worked great for our 10ft in ground pool. The extension pole worked great. Money well spent! ... show more

When I bought this vacuum, I didn’t realize it was for an above ground pool, but I’m glad I made the mistake because I absolutely love it. It has great suction. You can easily empty the debris and it holds the charge for quite a long time. It comes with a very sturdy extension pole but it’s not long enough for an in-ground pool so you will need to purchase a 12 or 16 foot extension pole which connects quite easily. ... show more

After a few months of use, I feel comfortable in wriitng a review of this product. First, I did like the way the product was packaged. And the sleek design is attractive. For the most part, this is a handy tool that helps with spot cleanup issues, Chargin is simple and I get a lot of use from a single charge. The first thing i noticed is that the product must be pushed very slowly in the water or it simply will not clean the surface. Further the swivle head often flips to the side or all the way over which is just a nuisance rather than a real operational issue. There is enough suction to get stuff picked up you just have to be very patient. Now for my not so good parts of this reivew. The upper rod handle will not lock down when you twist the lock ring. Therefore, when you push down when its extended for use in deeper water or stretching to reach a corner, the handle slips into the bottom portion and you lose that important length. I have also noticed the 4 screws that hold the bottom plate onto the swivel attachment are rusting. These screws should have been stainless steel. In conclusion, this is a decently made product. Some attention to the issues mentioned are needed as the handle issue is a real bummer. And if the screws rust throughj and the head falls off in less than a year that won't be a good outcome. Update July 20. I thought it appropriate to comment that vendor reached out to me and has made good on their desire to have happy customers. Very impressed with their customer focus. ... show more
