    • Hard to put a price on a better night of sleep

I tried many different things before settling on this. Right when I took it out of the box I was very impressed at the weight, I knew this wasn't just another fluffy mattress pad. This mattress protector/topper just feels nice and gives continued support throughout the night with no unpleasant surprises. I'm very pleased with it so far and I can tell a significant reduction in pain to my shoulders sleeping on my side. I wish I had just gone all out and gotten something like this years ago instead of trying to skimp on lesser, thinner versions. Be aware, this will need time to bulk up once you take it out of the package. But it will eventually expand out to an inch or maybe more of significant padding. I will say my bed has lost a little bit of the nice plush fancy feel of an internal layer of memory foam which fools you into thinking it is softer and more forgiving than it actually is. But there is no doubt this is a real improvement, evident by how much easier I fall asleep and significantly reduced tossing and turning through the night. Fantastic alternative to memory foam topper. Memory foam feels great to me when you first lay on it, but then I slowly sink into it like quick sand until I eventually sink down so far that I just feel like I'm right back on my overly firm mattress. Not long ago I was in an endless cycle of shifting around on my memory foam topper, falling asleep in comfort, then waking up in pain after all it's support had faded to nothing. Really thick memory foam would not give up completely like most, but for me, the results would be even more dramatically bad the thicker the memory foam. I'd shift around until I'd finally get my aching spine lined up to relieve pressure off of the offending areas, just to wake up an hour or two later feeling like someone played an awful trick on me, beat me up, and threw me in a ditch. Better than Latex or egg crate. Latex just ends up making my bed feel stiffer. Egg crate foam is a decent improvement but I could never get it to stay in place and it would always eventually just bunch up under the mattress protector. I got sick of trying to straighten it up and it eventually got kinda of nasty and torn so I was looking for a replacement. This is an excellent alternative which I believe will last much longer and without all the extra fidgeting. ... show more

    • I don’t feel cooler though

This topper easily fits our mattress and it is a great fit and it is very comfortable. Our mattress has felt awful for years because it is too firm. This topper fixed that for me and has been an enormous blessing. I don’t feel sore anymore, I can rest deeply and more peacefully, and I am very thankful. The thing I dislike for this Spring and Summer is that I feel warmer sleeping on this topper. I’m going to love that this winter but it isn’t much fun now while we are dealing with this heatwave and heat dome. I am very happy with it because it protects the mattress and is comfortable. I’m hunting for a cooling sheet set to help me stay cooler and I’ll be in heaven again. ... show more

Don't spend a grand on an expensive mattress. Spend half as much then get one of these and put it on top. It will feel the same. Trust me. I have slept on expensive mattresses. Want to know how those expensive mattresses die? The tufted top wears out first. Well this is basically that and so when this wears out you can just toss it and buy another one instead of another mattress. At least that is what I did and it works very well. This is exactly as advertised. it is comfortable more than expected. Very soft. Examining it, it appears very well constructed and will likely last a year or so. That's longer than some mattresses I have owned. It does make the sleep a little cooler which is important when the summer is hot and where I am the summer is very hot. I highly recommend this as a good practical solution for making a cheap mattress feel expensive or extending the life of your mattress. ... show more

We have really enjoyed this KUB mattress pad. When I first got it I spread it out on the guest bed to fluff up as was recommended and it really fluffed up nicely. After getting it on my mattress I jumped and rolled all around on the bed to see if it would wrinkle up or get loose but the deep pockets and elastic has held it in place nicely. I can't really say if it is cooling or not because we only use cotton sheets (this is made of cotton as well) which are naturally cooling but it does feel nice when you lie down. I had ordered another one of these before and returned it because of the odor but this one has no smell at all. Just nice clean sheet smell. This is definitely going to spend a lot of time on our bed and I would recommend it to anyone that wants that little extra padding and to assist with a better nights sleep IMO. It's definitely not the cheapest one out there but it does seem to be made well with quality material. How's that saying? You get what you pay for. ... show more

I have a fairly new mattress, and I didn't really notice much with this topper on. It's just kind of there but not obvious. I wouldn't have minded a little more padding/cushion. It admittedly is not my favorite item as it doesn't help me feel cooler, it doesn't hep the bed feel softer, and it doesn't help me feel better rested. ... show more
