It cools quickly and I particularly like that the gel flexes and is comfortable. It should work equally well for general eye puffiness too, not just after surgery as it adapts nicely to the face.

I have not used this mask for heat, so disregard this review if you want to read about a heat mask. I like this mask. Like others have written, it loses it's coldness quite quickly. For about 20 minutes (which is the time they specify you should keep it in the freeze for) it gives you a solid 5 minutes of great, genuinely cold cooling sensation and then maybe another 10 minutes of just being a bit cooler before the heat of my face returns it to a normal temperature. It's comfortable to wear with a slim strap. It does however include a warning to not leave it in the freezer, which was a little disappointing because my ideal mask would be one that I just leave in the freezer and pull out whenever I need it; this mask is more of a 'put it in the freezer when you need it and wait 20 minutes' type product. Still, I am glad I have this product for days where I wake up with a hangover or whenever I get a migrane ... show more

I like the product but it only stays cold for about one minute out of the freezer. If it held for about ten to 15 minutes it would be five stars.

It shows in the picture a man’s face as well as a women’s face, my opinion is it’s best for a man’s face, it just didn’t right on a smaller face. It misses the targeted areas, good quality though, but it’s too big to form to my face no matter how tight I strap it
