I've been wanting to try one of these cot beds for a while. We have 6 dogs, one is older with incontinence. We are constantly washing dog beds and I hate it. The stuffing gets harder to put back every time and there's no way to clean it. This one you can take outside and hose off and good to go! It's tough enough and big enough to hold my 60lb dog with no problem with plenty space for more dogs to pile on. I love how big it is. The dogs seem to like it, that's the important part! The cons for me, the pillow isn't very stable and moves around quite a bit. If the company put another strap in the middle of the poles and not just at the corners it would help the stability alot. Since I got this for the cot part and not the pillow, I won't count this against them. ... show more

This bed was easy to put together based on the included directions. I sat on it myself and it's sturdy! My old dog lays on the hard deck boards outside and I thought this would be a comfier place for her to hang out. Wrong! The bed is great but she won't go on it. I got this for a cat, not a dog. But he doesn't seem to care that it was made for a dog: he likes it anyway, apparently. It is hard to tell what a cat likes, but he spends a lot of time sleeping on it. The cushioned edging is a bonus. It was easy to put together.

After 2 days, the whole bed collapsed when we moved the padded bed. No wonder our pup was so nervous about it. I ordered the XL size for my dog, even though I think a large would have been sufficient. I wanted extra space for another dog, and depending on their sizes, two could potentially fit. However, I'm not sure it's strong enough to support both. The weight capacity for the XL is listed as 130 lbs., and my dog weighs 45 lbs., but I’m concerned it might not hold up over time. I recently put together this elevated cooling bed for our 5-pound Maltese puppy, and while I usually leave assembling items to my husband, I decided to tackle this one myself. Initially, the assembly was a bit confusing, but once I carefully followed the instructions, I managed to put it together in under 15 minutes. A tip for easier assembly: I found it best to assemble the bed with the mesh part facing upside down—the legs stretched the mesh more easily this way. Once I flipped it over, everything fit perfectly, and the bed came together smoothly. The gray bed looks good in our home, especially since my 3-year-old daughter added a blanket that matches our decor. Of course, being a cooling bed, the blanket might defeat the purpose, but it adds extra comfort for our puppy while she adjusts to it. This is the first bed we’ve ordered for her, and while she’s still getting used to it, we’re optimistic she’ll warm up to it soon. This thing is super. It’s easy to install and fits together perfect. The round cushion even snaps to the frame. The rubber mat part has holes so it breathes and my animals love it. It operates as expected and is a great value for the money.
