  • Cool guitar.
Nice looking guitar! I had to do some setup though! I changed strings and adjusted the springs in the back because they were out of wack! I have also adjusted the pick ups a little. Plays great and stays in tune. I think the pick ups should have more heavy chunk to them but I might change them later. I love this guitar though! Kick ass body style! ... show more

  • love it
Color: Roasted Maple Blue
Touted as a entry level guitar with focus on it being easy to play and stable. Purchased because I like the shape and color. Planned to enjoy it for what it is and maybe do some upgrades (with parts on hand) if the neck was decent. Well, the neck is more than decent. Dead nuts straight with really nice fretwork. One or two or the inlays are maybe 1/32 high but that is really the ONLY thing I could find. Checks the box for being easy to play. On the stability front could use some love. After setting it up and playing it for ~ two weeks. Had to tune every single time it was played. Bends or dives throw it right out. Keeping in mind the intended use here don't see that as a huge deal breaker. Did replace strings and helped a little and could probably get away with a locking nut and spend less time tuning up. would not throw money to do any of this but in case you have parts kicking around some notes added locking tuners - the holes are standard not vintage replaced the bridge - rail tail wide fits with zero cavity modification and can reuse the 6 point holes replaced input jack - replaced mono with stereo and plate, it's an inverted football style replaced pots with long stem 5k push pull- drill out for standard 3/8 factory is smaller replaced the pickups with 4 wire - no issues using existing routed cavities and mounting there's enough space in the factory holes to pass four wire (factory is 2 wire) replaced the switch - plenty of room for even a superswitch there's room between tone and volume to add another pot or killswitch just some observations nut is bone, did a burn/melt test on the side no shielding inside appropriate 22 awg used but some corners cut by bending terminals on pot and switch ... show more

  • nice guitar
this guitar plays well, smooth neck but came out of phase, you need to do a setup, the lighthing bolts are faded, but the playability its nice, its chugs got the chunk for metal players. rhe acrion is close to the strings and frets are done well.

  • skeptical at first
Color: Roasted Maple Pink
I was worried that this guitar wouldn't be that good, considering only a handful of reviews, one actually having something to say. First off I wanted to say that when I got this I put on Earnie Ball 9-42 strings, I heard the "stock" strings aren't very good. I haven't been playing guitar for very long so I don't know many techniques but for the way I play (which is very relaxed and just for fun) this guitar is great! The fretboard feels nice, almost as nice as my acoustic, but I think that has a different wood for the fretboard. ... show more
