This product is not great but it’s not bad either. I feel like they could’ve put more stuffing in the beds. They seem like they went cheap on the stuffing but the shaggyness of the carpet was OK. I actually put the bed on top of the elevated tension beds. This is now our dog's favorite bed. She's a smallish Lab-mix, and has lots of room to stretch out and relax on the XL size. I just washed it, following directions on the tag, and it came out perfectly and is air-drying right now. That's a huge plus for me, after recently destroying another dog bed in the wash. Bought the khaki colored in XXlarge. Gorgeous color, soft, soft material. I have a 90 pound dog, an English golden retriever. She just turned one year old. Got this so that she would have support. Retrievers are known for suffering from hip dysplasia. I assumed this would be perfect since it was 4 inches thick. But it is not. If you are buying this for thickness, this is not the right one. My dog really likes this bed! We have bought it twice, the first one lasted a year. I don't know if you have ever had a puppy but ours was definitely a "loves to chew" kind of girl. So I was impressed it lasted a year. The reason we decided to replace it was because of so much use. She sleeps on it every night in her crate. We had washed it numerous times in the washing machine, and it never lost it's shape or softness. However, she sleeps in exactly the same position every single night, so she kind of wore her shape into it lol.
