We just got these this summer. They were easy to assemble, directions were decent. The steps are sturdy, we put the ladder side in the water and kept the steps out of the pool. My mom recently had knee surgery so it was easier for her to use that way.

It is a good ladder - sturdy and I like the security feature where you can lift it - Make sure the stringers and tread connectors are set up correctly so you can lift it and secure. The Steps are much easier to install. Follow the videos and definitely you need a cordless drill.

I was looking for a more sturdy way to enter and exit our pool. These are perfect. They are a little big for my pool, which I knew they would be when I ordered. These steps are perfect for a more sturdy and secure pool ladder. Easy assembly and directions. I have them in “backwards” and they still work great once the ladder portion fills with water. Still able to lock up ladder as well. I would rather my elderly parents fall into the pool and have more secure steps exiting. ... show more

I built the ladder just like it said to do, I did everything we put the sand in measured everything out to make sure that everything was done correctly. Took the ladder try to put it in the pool and nothing it wouldn’t stay in the pool. It kept flowing. It was shaking somebody tried to get in the pool and they fell and got hurt, that was the worst ladder that I ever purchased especially for that price ... show more
