We just got these this summer. They were easy to assemble, directions were decent. The steps are sturdy, we put the ladder side in the water and kept the steps out of the pool. My mom recently had knee surgery so it was easier for her to use that way.

It is a good ladder - sturdy and I like the security feature where you can lift it - Make sure the stringers and tread connectors are set up correctly so you can lift it and secure. The Steps are much easier to install. Follow the videos and definitely you need a cordless drill.

I was looking for a more sturdy way to enter and exit our pool. These are perfect. They are a little big for my pool, which I knew they would be when I ordered. These steps are perfect for a more sturdy and secure pool ladder. Easy assembly and directions. I have them in “backwards” and they still work great once the ladder portion fills with water. Still able to lock up ladder as well. I would rather my elderly parents fall into the pool and have more secure steps exiting. ... show more

What a upgrade to the crap ladder that our pool came with. Shipping was terrible boxes looked as if there were throw off the top of the ship even thought they are USA made. Missing a few bolts from it but there customer service is fantastic. Would recommend confer plastics to anyone

Pro: Ladder is wider, the landing at the top is helpful, the stairs make getting out much easier. Easy to assemble. Cons: Flimsy for the price paid. I was expecting a firmer feel instead of bowing of the steps and ladder. Granted we are larger people, which is the reason I went with such an expensive system but we are 50-100 lbs under the weight limit. So disappointed in that for sure! ... show more
