  • Great DIY
Size: 60 QT
Very easy to assemble. I would recommend a masonry bit for the start however. Once you get a pilot hole the included bit cuts thru the stainless steel like butter. Also you get everything in the picture including thread tape, I got two rolls and when the instructions say don't skimp on the thread tape, don't. I had a defective lid and Concord is sending a replacement. ... show more

  • but other than that it's a great brew kettle
Size: 30 QT
Worked out well. The seals don't fully "seal" until the first batch has been cooked, but other than that it's a great brew kettle.

  • Sweeet kettle for the price
Size: 60 QT
I purchased the 15 gallon size and love it. I have mashed out in it twice and see no need for the tri clad addition. Its already like 18 pounds. I had no scorching with my big beers(12%) and a 58000 btu burner. The valve is good enough but is deffinatly not a three piece fancy one. I don't care it works great. The hole in the barb is a little oblong is my only ding. It isn't a functionality issue just looks tacky. I'm a pipeline welder so I'm picky like that. I had,no sealing trouble I think the ones who do are overtightening the nuts. That smushes the gaskets causing a leak. I would order some extra gasket washers and save the trouble of reusing them, their cheap enough to use new, ones for each bach I used mine twice and toar it being rough pulling it off the nipple. Bottom line buy it, I'm getting 2 more to complete a real all grain rig. ... show more

  • Thin bottom!
Size: 80 QT
The bottom of this pot is very thin and will discolor and warp with little heat. I emailed and asked why and their response was that the heat was centered and not wide spread, but I don't feel that was the case. I have now noticed that they offer at least 2 other 80qt pots that have triple bottoms for heat, so that's why I think this is just a cheap pot. ... show more

  • Solved my issue right away!
My kit came as it was listed. The kettle is massive and all of the parts are as described. The drill bit is awesome. We had a little trouble with one of the parts. However, I contacted Concord and they made it right as quick as possible. This is a great company and no matter what product you get from them I have no doubt that they will make you extremely satisfied. Ron @ FrostFarmNM.com ... show more

  • Good pot
I can get about 26 gallons boiling which gives me about 21 gallons after boil off. So it works perfectly. Metal is thick enough to make it sturdy. Bottom is a bit thin, so it does develop some pretty strong hot spots. If you're using for brewing I'd recommend stirring constantly when applying full heat, or if you're like me and have a whirlpool, keep it going when heating. Stainless bit cut through it no problem. ... show more

  • Great pot for brewing
Size: 60 QT
Great pot for brewing. Very sturdy. Heavier thickness than expected. Make sure to use the bit provided as I destroyed a step bit on the first hole.
