These blankets were thinner and smaller then I was expecting though my pup took to them right away. I wouldn't say they are very durable against an anxiety riddled boxer/aussie mix thats 50 pounds. Not great quality. Bought them as part of donation for local dog pound. Not going to work for medium or large dogs. Would work for small dogs and cats (puppies and kittens as well). Would stick with mainstays light fleece blankets from wal mart (2.50 - 5$ a piece)
