  • 30 40 mmHG Graduated Makes Difference
Size: X-Large Color: Black Wide Calf
These sock hose are excellent. They improve blood flow in an injured leg of mine that is prone to swell. I have tried other stretch hose but none so effective as these medical type 30-40 mmHg graduated. The mm is a measurement standard that stands for the millimeters of mercury and indicates the level of pressure. The graduated pressure is in this specification a low of 30 at the top of the sock and the high of 40 at the foot. Of course I had no way to tell if the advertised specification was present, but by the visual result of only one full day of wearing the aid, I am convinced that it was performing well within the parameters. They work fine for me. Are easy to hand launder, and they dry quickly. Price wise, they might seem a little high for one pair of socks, but it is results that you are seeking not quantity or odor reducing copper fibers. Those socks are also compression but for my needs these socks are better. These are real compression hosiery. They do the job. I found them to be comfortable, and yes, they look good on my leg when my pant leg creeps up. Nothing is evident that you are wearing a compression stocking. I am giving them a resounding Five GIANT Stars because they are well made, work as they should..and the results contribute to the overall value and rating. Get them, you wont be disappointed. Be sure to pay attention to the sizing chart when ordering. ... show more

  • Good & Strong Compression. Very-very Durable
Size: Large Color: Black 2 Pack
I usually where Large in compression socks, across 5-10 brands. I have several Large in this brand, but they are too short to fully cover calf, short of knee by 1-2 inches, otherwise nice fit. I bought this XL, and covers full calf, reaching knee, and seems to have same compression on foot area as Large. These socks a little thicker, with nice reinforced heal. Most of my other compression socks develop rips at heal, but not this brand!! ... show more

  • Comfort
Size: Medium Color: Nude
These socks are so comfortable, so soft. I feel the compression could be a little tighter but I truly feel there's a good amount of cushion under my feet!

  • Far better than 'medical' stockings!!
Size: X-Large Color: White
My therapist had me wearing Jobst stockings, but those would run if you looked at 'em crosswise, consistently wore a hole in the heel after a couple months, only came in a shouted "disability tan", and cost nearly $70/pair before shipping. THESE Are Great! The durable thread takes well to washing and wearing and does not run! I have yet to poke a finger through while putting them on. The heels remain solidly intact! The black and white knee-high stockings look "normal" even while wearing shorts (fooled a nurse friend). They fit properly. They FEEL terrific. Bonus: the size & compression numbers are durably imprinted inside the top band (no confusing different pairs in the wash). BEST OF ALL: Even though CompressionZ appears more durable, I can buy three pair for less than one pair of the other brand!!! No more handwashing one pair while wearing the other. I stocked enough to last days on end (and I can wash them in the machine on Delicate with no problem). The only complaint (and it really isn't much of one) is that the originally prescribed stockings were Medium, but I found I needed to buy XLarge CompressionZ, which seem to be sized only by the length between heel and knee. I can't measure the compression, of course, but they feel every bit as tight as the prescribed stockings and appear not to have stretched the least bit after months, unlike the expensive originals. No more holes in the heels! ... show more

  • Over the years, length is shorter
Size: X-Large Color: Black 2 Pack
I've purchased these in the past and the length was fine. Now, purchasing them again, they are shorter. Do not go all the up to the knee.

  • From someone who suffers from a DVT, these socks ROCK
Size: X-Large Color: Black 2 Pack
For the price that you have to pay for name brand compression stockings, I was absolutely blown away by the workmanship, comfort and how well these work. I have tried every brand from jobst to sigvaris and these absolutely reign over the rest. For the price, these stockings are a steal of a value. Tough and I love them. ... show more

  • They do not fit
Size: X-Large Color: Black
I was extremely disappointed with this product. Previously I have purchased the SOX Sugar Free compression socks and wear them everyday they work extremely well however after reading the marketing message about the CompressionZ socks I decided to purchase a pair and try them out. I ordered the X large size based on the sizing chart however when they arrived, I tried to put them on and after at least 5 minutes of struggling with just one sock I almost gave up. I finally got both pair on literally took 10 minutes and it felt like I was trying to put my size 12 foot into a size 10 shoe!! They were so tight, and my legs felt like the circulation was actually cut off rather than enhanced. I then decided to go ahead and put them in the washer to see if that would "loosen them up" a little but if anything, it made them even tighter. I must mention that when I finally did get one on the actual size from toe to heel did seem like the right size, so it was not a mistake as far as the xlarge (size 12). Needless to say, they are useless to me, and I know that they cannot be returned for credit since they have been washed etc. But needless to say, I will never purchase this brand again and next time I will return to the SOX Sugar free socks if Amazon still has those available. ... show more
