  • Awesome! Use two of these with a splitter for multiple headphones with no latency
Our goal was to hook two pairs of headphones up to our Sony x95k television, so that my husband and I could both watch the same thing at the same time, but individually control our volume, etc. We tried so many options to accomplish this, and always kept bumping into problems, like either the latency (lip syncing) would be way off, or the sound would be terrible and crackly. After reading other helpful reviews (thank you to the people who write real, actual helpful reviews here sometimes!), here is how we used this product to solve our problem... I'm so pleased to say that everything works perfectly now! Equipment we bought: - TWO of this item (the Sennheiser bluetooth transmitter, and yes TWO were required to get good sound out of two headphones even though one technically does two sets... we found out that while the one transmitter does technically do two headphones, it will not do two headphones with high quality sound) - a digital optical splitter (the active type that plugs into a wall) - Two pairs of Sennheiser Momentum 3 headphones (as I understand it from other reviews, it is important to make sure that both your headphones and the transmitter have a qualcomm aptx technology, so we opted to keep everything in the Sennheiser family) All you have to do is attach the active optical splitter to the back of your tv and then attach the two transmitters to that. Then wirelessly connect your headphones, and you're in business! Both people will be able to watch and listen, and there will be no issues with latency or crunchy sound quality. This has really made our lives so much better. Now we can each listen at our own volume, the sound quality is great. Or if only one of us wants to watch something, we don't need to disturb the other person. It's really a flawless setup, no issues with connectivity or anything like that. ... show more

  • Very low latency
Easy to setup, extremely low latency. Works well with two BT speakers at one time. The only complaint and reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it does not come with a power cube; only comes with a USB power cable to plug in to a cube that you have to supply yourself, which is a little cheesy.

  • Turntable to Soundbar Bluetooth Connection
I read a review that this works after searching the internet for hours looking for a solution. If you are looking for a way to connect your turntable to a Bluetooth sound bar or anything Bluetooth connected. This works amazingly. Just make sure to hold the button to pair on the transmitter and pair the device as well and you're golden. ... show more

  • Works with Unitron hearing aids
Bought the BT-100 to keep the tv volume low so my wife wouldn't be bothered. It works well with my Unitron Moxi Fit hearing aids. There is a latency problem because hearing aids are not compatible with low latency audio codec, so I try to not to concentrate on their lips on the screen. Using the iPhone app for Unitron I turn the volume to its lowest setting, which is comfortable for most tv viewing. Overall result is more than acceptable! ... show more

  • Works great with Sennheiser HD 350BT headphones
I needed a low latency wireless headphone system to listen to the sound from videos (movies, etc.) while simultaneously having the speakers on. To make that work, you need extremely low latency in the bluetooth wireless system. Apparently the only viable solutions use the Aptx-LL (low latency) audio codec over bluetooth. After reading a bunch of reviews, I decide the Sennheiser HD 350BT headphones were the obvious choice for sound quality, product build and comfort. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083WS3WPK/. They are very good. Initially I bought a bluetooth transmitter from another manufacturer (not Sennheiser), which supports Aptx-LL. You'd think that all bluetooth transmitters with Aptx-LL support would work with all headphones with the same standards, but that is only partially true. With that first transmitter, sometimes it would work rather well, sometimes the sound quality was bad (crackling noises), sometimes it was hard to connect to the phones, and sometimes the latency was EXTREMELY high, implying something was malfunctioning. The Sennheiser transmitter works great. Excellent sound quality, reliable connections, and extremely low latency. Worth the extra money. ... show more

  • Tired of reading captions that distract from the action on-screen?
Having tried other Bluetooth transmitters that failed to pair with headphones, that had lots of static and dropped connection continuously, this product proved just the ticket. Though we experience trouble pairing the second headphone, the first pairs immediately and the sound quality is good. It maintains continuous connection and never drops out. This is THE solution. ... show more

  • They are what they are
Too much latency to use as in ear monitors for playing and singing with backing tracks, and same issue if trying to use when watching TV, lips don't match the dialog

  • Best Upgrade Ever!
This thing is great. No lag! I can now use my Sennheiser HD1 BT headphones, or any BT headphones really, to watch tv, play games etc. I plugged it into the optical on the tv and used the usb on the tv to power it. Finally, I used Velcro to attach the transmitter to the back of the tv. Super clean install. Very important if you use ARC. I used CEC ARC to play sound through my amp from my tv. You will need to turn off the amp so that the tv knows to send sound to the optical output and not the ARC. This will make sense to people that have their tv setup using ARC. Otherwise no audio signal will be sent to the transmitter depending on your tv. ... show more
