My recently purchased 2007 Porsche Boxster S does not have Bluetooth or the ability to stream music (no aux or USB input of any kind). Add to that the small footprint of the cigarette lighter in the center console which requires a tiny FM transmitter. Plus the car does not switch off the cigarette lighter when the key is removed. I needed something with a power on/off switch to avoid draining the battery. This fit the bill perfectly! I can long press the "CH" button to turn it on/off and save my battery. It works great with the Bose factory system and the bass booster makes it sound even better! The sound is rich and full and sounds as good as local over-the air FM stations.     • Easy to use, discrete and decent sound quality
I have been really impressed by this blue tooth module. Nice design, compact, not especially noticeable in my Lexus RX,...has a somewhat high tech look to it. and the sound quality is surprisingly good. I have a hard wired bluetooth adapter in my other vehicle that required removing part of the dash and console and radio to plug it in to the back of the factory radio,...then had to mount the module and the velcro keeps failing, causing the module to fall down,....then the module itself failed,....requiring removal of the dash, console and radio again. I wont ever do that again. THIS is a far cleaner, easier, and less expensive solution that even looks cool in the 12v socket. ... show more

The factory radio of my 2006 RAM 1500 does not have Bluetooth connectivity, so I had to use the auxiliary port to connect it to my iPhone so I could listen to the music I’ve saved over the years. But the aux port connection has always been problematic. Sometimes only one channel works, sometimes it’s ok. I’ve taken the radio apart and have even sealed all connections with hot glue, and that worked for a long time. But eventually, the problem came back. This Bluetooth transmitter solved all those issues. It does produce some staticky noise when connected through the lighter socket, but it’s minimal and you can twist it a bit to pretty much eliminate it. I will try the additional 12-volt port in the dash to see if that makes any difference (I doubt it) but, otherwise, this thing has made my life a lot easier and I can now enjoy listening to my music without issues. And if I need to use the GPS, for example, I can do so while listening to music and I can hear GPS instructions through the truck speakers. If a phone call comes on, all I do is quickly unplug the transmitter and use the phone normally. In short, I love this thing and it works great. I hope my review is helpful to you. But if you’re on the fence I’d say get one and try it. If you don’t like it, you can always send it back. But my guess is that you’ll keep it for the added convenience.     • Connects on start-up with no fuss or hassle
I was looking for something that would take the place of satellite radio by using the huge music library in my iPhone. It needed to hook up instantly and play music on powering up without doing anything on my part after being initially set up. This meets and exceeds my expectations for that. It connects to my phone's Bluetooth immediately. My radio is left on and tuned to the right channel and this device remembers that frequency setting while powered down. Other than unlocking my phone to start the music app I don't have to do anything else to get music playing. This makes it superior to Bluetooth transmitters because it powers up by itself and it doesn't have a battery that needs to be charged. The device is very quiet. There is very little static and no alternator whine in my Honda. The sound quality is good but you have to turn the volume on the phone and stereo up pretty far for it to be loud enough for my taste. So minus one star for sound quality for that. But I don't mind it that much because the device is quiet and so there is not much hiss at high stereo volume.     • Works great and is really simple
Transmitter works great. Only downside is finding an empty FM station. Sound quality depends on the frequency you're tuned into and can cut out sometimes. Instructions are a little vague about certain things but once you figure it out it's really easy to use. As soon as you plug it in, it remembers the last station you used and connects to my phone instantly. Haven't had any pairing issues with the device itself. ... show more

    • Works pretty good but has flaws.
Has a bad ticking noise, when you turn the knob forward or to the right sometimes it goes backwards or takes you to the previous track. The bass boost is awesome but turns off every time it loses power.

    • No more lame ass radio I get to listen to my OWN choice of music!!!!
OMG this little device is a lifesaver!!!! I have an older car like with a cassette player and of course the cassette player doesn’t even work so I couldn’t go with the cassette tape converter option. So for the longest time I’ve been having to listen to the radio which is basically 90% commercials smdh. I had heard of these devices because my friend had one and so I ordered this one and I am so happy I did!!! It is really good quality feel and look. The sound is amazing too. There’s even a little button on it that boost the bass and wow it sounds great!!! It’s sleek so nothing all bulky poking out of my dash. Also neat all the ports it has on it! Changing songs with the little dial makes life so much easier and makes for a safer ride on the road now having to look at my phone. Also how I can take and make calls is so simple. Don't buy! It's easy enough to set up and I was super excited when I put it in my car and could finally have aux... That was short-lived though because as SOON as you pull out of your driveway onto the road, it immediately begins picking up every single radio frequency or other bluetooth music that exists! It's like radio static on crack. You absolutely cannot hear your music at all; all you hear is a chaotic, static-y mess of radio hosts and other music that isn't yours. This product does not do it's job as described and is most definitely a waste of money :( ... show more
