I got this mainly to view stomata for polyploidy testing. I haven’t used the camera as I use my phone for pictures and the phone holder works ok but not a very snug fit in the eyepiece. Also I have to buy a reticle lens separately so I can measure size. That’s another $45. It’s what I expected for the money. It works. ... show more

Don't waste your time or money. I also just received a microscope with no filter. Phone slid off suction cup adapter. Even taping it, the adapter doesn't fit snug so it tilts, it's useless. Kit needs a micro screwdriver to tighten up the prongs that hold the slides. The side push out the backside instead of resting on the deck. I would NOT recommend ... show more

It’s my 1st microscope..so I don’t know much about it at all but it’s nice. So far I looked at parasites in my aquarium filter and parasites in an raw oyster.
