Got this for the kids and it was a smash hit (thankfully). They’ve enjoyed playing with it and examining things up close. So far it’s just been some leaves and other interesting items we found in the backyard but the most important thing was that it opened their eyes to science and asking more questions. I bought this microscope for my 12 year old. I would like them to learn about the microscopic world and they are really amazed by just looking at very basic things like leaves, vegetable skins etc. It is easy to operate and this is going to be a great addition to science related projects.     • Product is different than Description
What you order is not what you receive. The product description says the microscope comes with a "5 colors filter wheel". It does not. It's not a bad little microscope but the filter wheel is partly why I chose it so it's disappointing that it didnt come with one.

Objective and eyepiece lenses are easy to fog,after cleaning and soon fogging,serious interference with normal observation,the acual magnification effect is much lower than expected ,and the advertised product is a bit inconsistent with the experience is extremely poor.
