This chair can work wonders on you. It’s enough power for me and I like how it hugs you . It runs in 15min intervals before turning off. It’s a great chair for the occasional massages needed through the week. I like it and it is worth the try.

    • a big chair, big on features
this is a very high backed big massage chair that fits nicely on your office chair or couch for ultimate neck and back massaging power, with the ability to add heat, vibration, and inflated air pads for the back and hips for extra stimulation. the integrated remote control provides easy access to all the buttons, with ability to toggle the neck and/or back functions separately, as well as the vibration, back air, seat air, and the like. for this not-so-tall human, then neck massage is quite on point and arguably the strongest shiatsu aspect offered on the chair, with the back shiatsu rollers feeling quite a bit more moderate. a milder rolling function is also offered as an alternative. the shiatsu function has either full upper or lower back region capability as given by its respective buttons, or spot tunability. there are three levels for seat vibration which vary in frequency (low, medium, high) but not intensity (mild). an auto function is also included which offers some vibration to start. the heating is also mild as offered, with a simple on/off toggle. for the features, this is a hearty 5 stars from me. i love the fact that the neck massage is properly sized/accessible for my torso, but also would likely work well for others with varying torso sizes, too. while my sharper image chair massager is a bit deeper when it comes to back massage, this unit will be a welcome addition to my office chair for daily tasks and the like. the only caveat that i can think of, which isn't enough to detract a star, is the fact that the neck shiatsu option is quite loud, much louder than the back massage option, which is just above a whisper in sound levels. another highly recommended product from a trusted massage accessory brand! ... show more

My husband and I both love a professional massage. We both had the price tag though. So we have been searching for alternatives. We even tried a full body massage chair from Costco but I didn’t like it - too intense and uncomfortable so we returned it. This chair option I must say surprised me with how good it feels. I’m 5’10 and my husband is 6’1”. When we sat down the neck lined up almost perfectly. What surprised and impressed me is you can move the neck rollers up or down slightly to match your neck! It has air and vibration which I don’t feel I needed but my husband liked. You can choose shiatsu or roller for the back. Love love the shiatsu and something that I would suggest doing is run it for a bit then push the shiatsu button again and the roller rotate the opposite direction which really feels like someone getting in and working on your knots. While it is moving up and down your back you can stop it on a spot that needs work with spot button. It also has arrows to go up or down to get the spot completely. To me this is seriously impressive. For many of these types I try to contort my body to get the right angle for something to work. This has so many options to make it work for you. Plus the heat! After using it the first time I realize when I stood up that it didn’t get my shoulders I was a little disappointed then I read the instructions. The instructions suggested trying a pillow to adjust as needed. So I sat on a pillow and yes, it got my shoulders! This device costs less than the two of us going for a massage so very well worth the cost to us. Plus you don’t leave your home. It would be nice to have a massage on other parts of the body but for my husband and I the neck and shoulders and back are the areas that need this the most and are covered by this device. I don’t have to turn to my husband and ask for neck rub which he appreciates too. ... show more

Love almost everything about this, but it doesn’t touch your shoulders at all. It’s really unfortunate for the pice that there’s a space with no massage between the neck and the back. The shoulder area is missing completely. Idk about you, but my shoulders need it just as bad, if not more than my back and neck. Gonna return ... show more
