  • It's the real deal
I've got this hanging in my workout area. I had a "BOB" on a base but was knocking it over and it would spin and you can't kick it low so he got retired for this. It's pretty firm and a good kick yields a satisfying thump with a bit of a dent. I have my chain short and a bumper plate under the bottom to create just a bit of drag that gets it to settle. I've probably put 60 3-minute rounds on it over the time I have owned it and it still looks brand new. I do use bag gloves for most of the strikes and recommend you do as well. That said, when working out and just giving it a walk by punch (who can resist) its not too abrasive. ... show more

  • Quality, durability, and feel are top tier.
I intentionally waited to drop my review until after I had used and beat my bag up a bit and it has not disappointed! This bag is perfect for the casual who just wants to blow some steam off in the garage, or the seasoned boxer/ martial artist who wants a quality product. After almost 2 years of use this bag has shown a level of durability that I did not expect and I’m actually blow away. ... show more

  • Experienced Combat Sports Competitor is impressed
I've been training in striking since 2008. I've hit every type of bag you can imagine. This bag is good. It comes filled which is great and the price is fantastic. I mounted it in my garage and it has taken about 2 months worth of punches, kicks, and knees flawlessly. You can spend the $$$ on a fairtex if you have it, but if you don't this is good. ... show more

  • Been training on these bags for over ten years
I have been using this particular brand of bag for over ten years in my MMA training. It's solid and they can take a beating, I would of like to have seen them ad a D ring at the bottom of the bag by now to hold it in place and also switch to Nylon bands over chain to hang it so that the D rings at the top of the bag don't become worn but these are mere suggestions. If you are new to owning a bag of any kind then please be aware that you have to roll them out if they become to hard for you to kick or punch, me personally I never roll mine out but my shins are used to it where I have had others Kick my bags and they go all limp legged as if you just whacked them in the shin with a stick or something. The Bag is good and has the zipper up top so you can add extra stuffing into it as it gets broke in, which is nice this way you don't end up with a bottom heavy and empty top bag, those of you who train a lot know what I am talking about nothing sucks more than having to work on a Thai Bag that is empty at the top and just happens to be where your punches land if your a taller fella like myself. It also come with Good hanging hardware not just some weak sissy chain, I personally at my home, just bought a 2x6 that spanned the width of my garage and screwed that to the ceiling with to screws in each joist, then screwed an Eyelet into that then attached a 250lb meister bag spring then attached my bag to that this way the bag has some bounce with the swivel and also to help absorb the shock of the hits the house takes from 100lbs being jostled around. All in all I think you will enjoy this bag and the brand. PS. Clean your BAG ... show more

  • Best punching bag I’ve had
I’ve went through about 4 punching bags in my life and this is the best one I’ve had, it’s really heavy so it doesn’t swing a lot like the previous ones and it doesn’t seem to wear out or wear out my gloves when I’m using it. It came tough and it stays tough I thought after a while some parts were going to soften up but nope it’s still as hard as when it came . ... show more

  • Excellent Heavy Bag
"The Original and the Best" is printed right on the side of this bag. Does it live up to this reputation? Absolutely. In addition to the competitive pricing, the bag shipped super fast and the quality is everything you could want for an MMA sized bag. Very sturdy construction and a focus on functionality rather than flashiness. Equally useful for bare-hand and shin conditioning as well as gloved up combat. I especially appreciate the design of the rings used to hang the bag; Combat Sports uses a clever ring design that includes a heavy-duty carabiner which allows the bag extra (or less depending on needs) headroom depending on how you need to mount it. You will be happy with this bag and you should buy it! ... show more

  • Does what it’s supposed to, on the softer side
Well, I’ve only had it for a short time but it seems like it will hold up well. It’s definitely softer than the bags at my gym but that’s fine with me. I will be kicking it more at home than I kick the ones at the gym so I’m sure it’s plenty hard enough to condition the shins. I have mine mounted off the ground, which I prefer. It allows me to circle the bag and work it like a live opponent. I’ll try to remember to update this as time passes. Highly recommended for now though. ... show more
