  • Nice. Boot Install direction is important. Any brand would do.
The OEM original small bolts are better quality with higher rust resistance, by the looks of it, so reuse the OEM ones. The longer bolts are good to replace, mostly the one that have the rubber boot on it, because that is the cause of the majority of problems where break would not clamp from one side (due to deteriorated inner rubber boot on the bolt not letting go of that side of the clamp.) When installing outer boots, make sure to install them correctly--they are directional and only supposed to be installed one way and slidden on OVER the bump edge of the bolt AND of the caliper clamp structure. Make sure to use special non rubber-destroying non-petroleum grease made specifically for break calipers, after cleaning off rust of the old mating surfaces. Make sure to fill them good with caliper grease. Make sure the rubber edges of the larger boots are slidden on tightly over the metal meeting edge of the clamp structure and of the bolt edge. Understand that the rubber outer boots are directional, so you have to install them a certain way. Work assembled assembly together to see how nicely it moves and how the outer boots do not slide of but stretch without exposing the inner grease by tightly sitting over the meeting edges over which they were slidden on. I tried two brands of the boots and they work about the same. One have diagonal ribs on the inner boot and the other longitudinal.. I believe that the longitudinal ones are better logically as to how it is supposed to work and for future servicing pull out of the sticking bolt (which sticks due to rubber gone bad and being swollen up.) I would recommend replacing these boots every time you take the break boot are taken apart or when you pull the bolt out to check for inner boot problem or in order to grease it. Inner boot is the main problem that prevents good movement once it is deteriorated and swollen and therefore starts to stick. Outer boots are for liquid and dust protection so that they have to sit tightly over the meeting them edges. If your break rotors are shiny on one side and the other side has rust build up then you know that is the inner boot problem that is causing it. This problem is a cause for failed vehicle inspections, so do the maintenance or fix timely and do it right. ... show more

  • Good quality slide pin boot
The slide pin boots were a bit snug for my calipers but i was able to stretch it and make it fit for my brake system. Its a good quality part. It may or may not be snug for you but it gets the job done.

  • They fit 06 g35
The rubber boots that attach to the calipers fit perfectly. However, the rubber seal that goes around the slide pin was too short and just ended up reusing the old ones.

  • Fits 2011 Subaru Outback
This set is exact replacement of OEM Subaru parts, front and back. My rubber boots and bushings got swollen after use of a synthetic grease from a parts store. Good quality also.

  • Perfect fit - 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon
Perfect fit - 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon - GT Limited (294mm rotors). Tried to purchase from dealer but all they sold was a "seal package" with caliper cup seal, pin boots, etc for $35.00 per wheel. These were an exact fit and brought some pre-load back to the slide pins (old boots were probably original). Length of boot and fit at each end (pin and caliper) were exact - which kind of surprised me. ... show more
