Bought this for my wife and two kids, used it all summer and it held great up in rain, sun, heat, and cold. A breeze to set up, lots of great quality of life features like a shelf above the door, nice and tall on the inside because of the unique pole shape. The bottom is a tough and durable thick tarp that comes up along the edges. Only thing to remember is that it doesn't have a cover on the outside door, so you'll have to keep everything inside your tent. Also, the carrying case is bigger than it needs to be. This tent was pretty easy to assemble, my sixteen year old daughter was able to put it together in about twenty minutes, just by herself, the inside of the tent has lots of room, as I was able to fit a queen air mattress inside and still have some space around it, the fabric material of the tent is very string and the rain fly keeps moisture out of the tent very well, this is a perfect companion for you cramping adventures. This is easy to put up with no "tied" connections. The bungie at the top makes it easy to put the poles up, and the clip ups work well. The rainfly clips into the pole attachment points. The carry bag is just slightly larger than necessary making it easy to pack away but not too bulky. The problems: the 2 straps that hold the rolled tent are thread-through straps. While they can be pulled tight to condense the tent, they will eventually get torn up and hard to use when they get dirty. Buckle clips would have been MUCH BETTER, and don't cost much more. The side walls are mesh. They are covered with the rain fly. BUT, the area above the door and the window on the opposite wall are also mesh. The rainfly does not cover them. EDIT August 2023: and, now I know for sure. Summer mountain rainstorm with just a little wind, and the inside was WET. Unfortunately, I was not in camp and did not get it covered in time. So, no, it WILL NOT stay dry in a rainstorm if there is any wind. Now I cover it with an additional tarp before I leave camp. Also, the tent does not hold heat. I would not recommend this if the temperature is below 50 degrees. ... show more

This tent is AMAZING!! And the price was unbelievable for a Columbia tent. Wow, there's so much room inside and standing room of 4 feet. Fits a full air mattress comfortably and there's even a place for a charger cord. Keeps any moisture out with the high level of waterproofing and waterproof tape on the seams. We absolutely love this tent. It is very spacious and easy to assemble as well. Highly recommend it. So far the durability has been great. We just need to test it more and in rain to see how it holds out for that.

    • Easy Set-Up, Waterproof
The set-up was a breeze, two poles to insert, canopy over the top and click it into the bottom portion of the tent, place the stakes into the ground and tie the tent down. 5-10 minutes to set-up for two people. The reason I wanted to write the review is how water resistant it is. It was raining when we put the tent up around 7PM and it continuously rained until 2AM, it came down hard at times. I was worried that it will start leaking at any point and kept checking the tent for leaks. Not a single leak! Very pleased with how it held up during the 5 hours of rain (came down hard at times). Purchased a 6 person tent and it had plenty of room for two people with decent sized sleeping pads and room for the gear (actually had room for 2 beach chairs inside during the rain storm). Taking the tent apart was just as simple as putting it together and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the bag is actually big enough for the tent when it is not factory rolled-up. 3 night 3 1/2 day stay, rained on two occasions, not a single leak and the thing still looks brand new. I recommend this tent and would definitely buy it again. ... show more

Bought this for a weekend camping trip and it was great in the rain and also set up early. My only complaint is that it only has one door, so if sharing the tent, there is only one way in and out. But, you can't complain about the price. Have now taken it on 2 camping trips and it's holding up really well. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone. ... show more
