I like the look of the salon nails but I don’t like having to go to the nail salon and pay the prices for them. I was looking at different sites on my phone one night and came across an add for this nail dip powder. I watched the video and was impressed at the way the nails looked. So I ordered a kit. I followed the instructions and was amazed at how professional they looked. Wow. My nails look and feel as if I spent hours at a nail salon. I have always loved getting my nails done but hate paying the money to do so. When I found this on LongHairPrettyNails channel on YouTube, I had to try it. I have never done my own dip powder but have done gel before. When I got the box, I read the directions and followed her tutorial on YouTube. It was very easy to follow. Of course, I had some practice to do, but for my first time I think I did pretty okay. After the 1st week, I noticed the white was turning yellow. I didn’t like that, so I used my gel color to paint over it. Doing this made my nails really thick, but I didn’t want to take them off just yet. After 2 weeks, I had grow out and wanted a new color. I soaked each nail for 10 minutes and scraped them off with a cuticle pusher. They were very easy to get off. I then filed my nails down, and started all over. I figured out, to put gel on top, you do 2-3 coats of the dip and then paint over the dip. I watched many YouTube tutorials on how to do this. Overall, I am VERY impressed! ... show more

This product was great, and exceeded my expectations. Working with the glitter in this kit was easier than the solid colors, so I would recommend starting with that first to get the hang of it. My only complaint is that this kit does not come with any type of brush cleaner, and it MUST be purchased separately. In the time it took for me to finish all my fingers, the brushes on the second and third steps had already clumped up and hardened, making them unusable. However, I went to my local beauty supply store and bought lip brushes that actually work better in my opinion for application. I would also recommend getting some more substantial files rather than the block that is provided in the kit - I don't see it lasting very long, and you can use a higher grit file to make it less time consuming. I don't know how long these will last, but so far on day 2 they are going strong. Make sure you apply a GENEROUS as mentioned layer of step 2, and I would also recommend watching youtube videos to see the application technique in action before starting it yourself. I had not previously had these done at the salon with dip powder, so this was all new for me, but it was overall quite easy. ... show more

Instructions are a little hard to understand, until you watch a video tutorial. Even the video on the box is confusing and not in depth enough. I had to watch other videos on these powders to figure out exactly how to do this. Even so, the powder doesn't come out very well. Just buffing them will not make them smooth, at all! I bought a nail drill to help. But I think I just need to buy better powders. You get what you pay for. ... show more

The product image shows a top coat, but what was delivered was the 2 steps and a brush cleaner. This is my first attempt at doing dip at home. It was a learning curve and I am overall happy with the dip product itself. However, not having a top coat, my nails look terrible. I tried to use a regular top coat, but the product absorbs it and they look matte now. I contacted customer service and all they said was “sorry they changed the box contents read the directions.” Well, I wanted a starter kit with a top coat which is why I ordered it. Not too mention, the color More Amoure, or whatever it’s called, is supposed to be pink. As you can see from the picture it’s an off white. Not even tinged pink. I will be returning the product for one that is correctly packaged, with a top coat, and better colors. ... show more

Colors are great and this beginner kit was very easy to use. I used this to do my own dip powder nails at home for the first time and they turned out pretty good. They’ve lasted for over a week now and I havent had any problems. I will probably redo them after the two week mark just because my nails are growing fast. I didnt think the bottle of brush cleaner was necessary, but I did find that the brushes got hard after a few uses and had to switch them into the cleaner, which was no problem. Also, it says the clean the rim of the bottles before screwing the top back on, and I didnt pay attention to it. I opened them again today and noticed gel on the brush and rim, so I suggest just wiping it off after using it! This product is great, if u can get it out of the bottle. The brush is too short to reach the polish. With normal polish this isn’t an issue but the viscosity of this and it’s dry time makes it impossible to tilt towards the brush. I bought the LARGE step one bottle thinking it would help, worst decision possible. 1 star. The cap constantly dried closed even if I cleaned it after every use. The bottle ended up SHATTERING when I tried to open it. It cut me and ruined my floor! Would be a great product if you could use it... ... show more

I’ve never had dips before, professional or DIY. I just followed the instructions on the box and had these beauties in 30 min. Can now see I should have buffed my ring finger more, but it was easy to use and super cute. Edited after removing - came off easily. I used cotton balls, acetone and clips. It took about 20 min and lifted off. I had to have my husband put on the clips for the last 3 nails. I had them on for 5 days and had to remove for work. ... show more
