We had a defective tent. We thought it was our error in putting it up first time around but second time out we realized it was defective - unfortunately that was months after our purchase. We only took it twice. Also two guy lines broke but I think this was partly because of the defect causing extra strain. It took a while to put up defective or not so not a quick and easy weekender tent. I'm disappointed - waited a while to decide on the perfect family camping tent and it was a bust. ... show more

Style: Meadowood 4 (Fibreglass Version)
I have been looking for a tent for months. Finally settled on the Meadowood 4. It’s not the air tent as it states in the main name for this tent. Pitched it in the yard and it was a quick set up. Roomy and sturdy. I like the tunnel tent lay out and am happy with this tent so far. The only two things I didn’t like was that it says air tent for that price and it’s regular poles. Also, I bought it because it said Free International Shipping. It’s not free, Amazon just jacks the price of the tent up to cover the cost of shipping. I’ll update when I use the tent camping later on this month. Update after first trip camping. Tent is very nice looking. I love the huge front door and how it’s very open and airy feeling. The sleeping compartment is roomy enough for 2 adults and two dogs. No way it would fit two queen air beds. One queen and a single fit with about 10 inches of walking space. Things I did not like, a little stuffy bc of low airflow. With door fly sheets closed, it would be very stuffy. I also HATE the fold out flat down entrance. When researching, I couldn’t tell if it was sealed shut when the flat part was up. It is not sealed shut. I can stick my fist out of both sides so I know that bugs and crawlers can enter through there. Also, it’s not a double zip mesh and fly sheet system. The mesh is inside zip and the fly sheet is outside zip so if you want to close the flysheet if it’s raining, one has to unzip the mesh and then zip the fly’s sheet then resin the mesh bc the lower portion of the flysheet is not zippered. Those things are huge negatives in my opinion. It’s past the return window so I’ll have to live with these flaws. ... show more
