Very happy with this tent. I do recommend setting it up in your yard once before heading to the camp site. It's easy to set up once you figure it out. Also easy to take down. Nice and roomy, weatherproof, but I'm not sure how well it would stand up to a heavy wind. The rain fly/cover works well, but if it's very windy, the rain might blow in through the lower edge. The head room is great, I'm 5'6" and even though it's marketed at 4'8", I was able to stand up pretty straight in the center. I had room for my queen airbed, all my gear and my cool little portable toilet. Very happy with the purchase. ... show more

Bought this tent looking for an easy set up tent, big enough for 2 - 4 adults. I was not disappointed. (I have not actually camped in this tent, just a test setup). Assembly was quick and somewhat easy with 1 adult, probably 5-10 minutes. I didn’t see the directions until after it was up, but they aren’t the greatest. The top clip came broken and unusable, but a small carabiner was a good quick fix. I’m 6’ and could easily walk around without hitting my head. 3 of 4 sides are mesh and seem very breathable and let in a lot of light. The rain guard made it surprisingly dark and was thicker than I expected. I like that it sits on the exposed tent poles rather than on the actual tent, which should help rain from soaking in. The tub bottom/floor paired with a decent tarp should help as well. 2 queen air mattress fit snug, with about a foot left in front. The side pouches and shelf on top are a nice touch. Tear down was equally easy, 5-10 minutes, and folds up nicely. I did have to re-roll the tent to get it to fit back into the bag, but it was fairly simple. Overall, this seems like a pretty good and sturdy tent. A little disappointed with the broken clip, but not enough to return it. ... show more

I got the 6person tent and we had 3 people sleep in it. Once you out your bags and other stuff in the tent it starts to take up room so we still had a good amount of space with 3 people to be comfortable. I camped in 50 degree weather with a space heater and this tent did s good job holding in my heat! It was significantly more comfortable inside it. I love how the rods stay attached and the set up was very simple. You could do it by yourself. There also a storage baggy inside that’s very convenient to hold your phone or glasses so they don’t get smushed over night. You can also stand up all the way in here, I’m 5’6, so that was also very convenient. ... show more

Very easy to assemble as the rods come attached to the tent on the corners, and each segment is connected by springy cord which makes the final poles easy to assemble. The case also comes with an insert to remind you how to assemble it, which I only needed to reference for the rain cover. However, once you've assembled the rain cover once it's very easy to repeat, because everything you need is already attached to the cover, and it is stabilized by clipping on hooks already attached to the tent corners. It even comes with a "patio" - a small piece of tent fabric which you place outside the entrance to avoid tracking in dirt/rocks. The interior is vertically spacious, and the floor fits a queen-sized mattress (or two individual camping pads). The interior also has a hook at the top for clipping a hanging light, and has several pouches around the sides off the ground for holding various items. I'm very happy with this tent, especially for the very reasonable price. It's probably too large and heavy for a backpacking tent, but it's excellent for car camping, and the packed size is actually quite small and easy to pack into a trunk. ... show more

Last year I decided I wanted to start camping. I had not been camping since I was a teen w/my parents decades ago. I wanted to get into the hobby cheap, but not so cheap as to ruin the experience. Just to see if I really would enjoy it or if the nostalgia would wear off fast. I used this tent several times this year and don't regret it one bit. In the pros column: * Plenty of space for a single person. I was able to fit a camping cot, my camping chair, and a 25 gallon bin (as a nightstand) in the tent with enough room to move around. It was snug, but comfortable. * The tent held up to moderate rain on two of my trips - no water got inside. Though there was little wind to drive the rain. * The mostly netting body with the rain fly providing privacy meant that the tent remained relatively cool. But it was still comfortable down into the mid-30s F. And the cons: * The provided stakes were not of the best quality and were a challenge to use in the very rocky sites I went to in the West. * While the tent could remain cool, in direct sunlight on a desert day, it would not. The lone window on the front door meant there was little chance of a cross breeze helping matters much. * Setting up as a solo camper did take some time - definitely not the 5 minutes as advertised. Closer to 15 minutes. * The domed walls do cut down on the usable floor space inside the tent when not sleeping/resting directly on the ground. * Trying to get the tent to fit into the original, machine packed bag, is an exercise in futility. I simply bought a 25 gal. tote to carry the tent, rain fly and ground tarp in. Honestly, for a year's worth of usage to see if I really was going to keep camping, this was the ideal tent. A lot of the negatives on the list are more due to the style of camping I intended to use vs. the style of camping the tent targets. This is more of a heavier, multi-person, backpacking tent whereas I set out to car-camp as a solo person. I have since replaced this tent with a far more expensive, far heavier, and roomier tent for my 2nd season. But this tent fulfilled it's purpose. It let me know camping is something I am enjoying for the hobby it is, and not the nostalgia of years past. ... show more
