Users praised its ease of setup, spaciousness, and innovative features like the "dark room" technology and screened porch area. The tent appears to be durable, weather-resistant, and offers good ventilation and privacy options. However, concerns were raised about the quality of the materials and the design of the rainfly coverage.

Should I Buy It?

Yes, if you value ease of assembly, comfort, and innovative features like the dark room technology and screened porch. It's particularly recommended for casual campers and festival-goers. However, if you’re an avid camper planning to use this tent in varied and harsh weather conditions, you might want to consider the potential need for additional reinforcements or explore options with more robust materials and comprehensive weather protection.

  • Easy Set-up & Comfortable
Style: 4-person
Easy to set-up with two people (even in the dark). Stayed comfortable, dark and warm inside the tent in 30-40 degree weather with the rain fly on. Note that we also used a reflective mat under the tent for extra warmth. Comfortably fit two single cots. However, there was very little room leftover and would not be able to accommodate a third cot or sleeping bag. We also kept our bags in the screened in porch to maximize walking space inside the tent. One con: You cannot store things in the screened in porch if the forecast calls for rain as the screened in porch is not covered by the rain fly. Very easy to take down and store in the carrying case, no tears in the screen or flooring. Overall, we’re happy with the tent and are excited to try in next in the summer. ... show more

  • Excellent tent!
Style: 4-person
I bought this tent back in 2020. It’s now 2024, we’ve used it several times and it has proven its worth! We live in the PNW where rain is always possible, and we’ve been sufficiently poured on while camping. This tent, with the fly, definitely keeps you dry, but some water may leak in through the side walls below the fly, and the screen room will most definitely get soaked since it’s not covered. Water has never pooled on the bottom, and you’ll only know the walls are wet from touching it. I really like the Dark Room Technology. Of course it’s not going to block out ALL of the light, this is just a tent after all, but you won’t be waking up with the sun like other tents. This tent is easy to set up and take down. We’re pretty proud of the fact that we’ve never had to remove the stitches in the bag to make it larger! This is the nicest tent we’ve owned and I would recommend it to others. ... show more

  • Great tent and dog friendly!
Style: 4-person
I browsed a ton of different style tents before purchasing this one and I am mostly happy with it. We took it on its maiden voyage this last weekend and noticed a few things holding it back. I’ll start with the pros: -Darkroom technology was great. Definitely not as bright as all my other tents. Kept it cool! -The porch/screen front area is awesome! Our dog liked chilling in it and when it was sunny we set up two small chairs inside to shelter from some sun. -Spacious. For a queen sized air mattress comfortably with room around it for your bags and stuff. -Super simple set up. I set this up by myself in about 10 minutes including stakes are rainfly. Sets up like most tents with nothing fancy or weird about the process, which was nice. Cons: Thin material. When setting it up we noticed a tiny hole in one the of walls and when breaking it down o noticed the same size hold below it on the floor. Looked like whatever made the hole was the same pierce that made both. Easy fixes so I’m not too upset. -When sitting in the front porch area for some reason there’s a strip of mesh that’s on the floor where it connects to the main tent. Obviously since it’s at the front door of the tent, it sees the most travel and will rip fairly easy. After just two days of use a hole tore through that mesh part. -the zippers in the front looked like they were barely sewn on. I posted a picture for reference. Looks like it’s already separating from the tent which is why I wouldn’t recommend this tent for rainy weather conditions. Overall it’s a decent tent all around, but I would advise against using it in anything but perfect weather. ... show more

  • Easy!
Style: 6-person
This tent is amazing! I was able to set this up with my ten year old with no problem at all in less than ten minutes (no kidding)! I love how dark it is inside the tent; we even needed a flashlight during the middle of the day. It definitely kept us cool while we slept, and we didn’t get woken up too early because of the sun. I love how you can’t see through the windows from the outside, so you don’t have to worry about people peeping while you’re trying to change. I love the “mud room” area too. Just make sure you don’t leave things in there if it’s going to rain since the rain fly does not cover that area. All in all, this tent is money well spent. ... show more

  • This tent turned heads!
Style: 4-person
I spent a fair amount of time shopping and comparing tents before taking the plunge. Videos and reviews and even busting out a tape measure and attempting to visualize this tent all helped. Nothing though compared to actually tacking the tent out of the package and setting it up. The included instructions aren't as clear as they could be, be sure to set it up once at home before fending off bugs and the elements out on your trip. The screened in area is a good size for storing supplies and dirty shoes/gear, the rain fly looks a little unstable and simply rests on top the the main poles, stabilized by it's own shorter pole and ropes, but where it clips onto the corners of the tent feels poorly planned, the fly often slips to one side or the other of the tent poles and can look lop-sided. Have no fear though, it doe's its job well. The windows and ventilation are well designed, with the fly off on a warm clear night, the sky is beautiful while laying down. There is a mesh channel that separates the front screened in area from the main tent, allowing for moisture to travel under the tent rather than into it from the front portion. I found this both helpful and frustrating, I chose a yoga mat as a "welcome" mat that covered this area as the natural moisture from below was problematic. A 10' X 12' tarp is a good thing to lay down first and will fit well under the tent. ... show more
