I bought this for fixing the walls on our home and works perfect. The LED feature allows you to see all the imperfections. I don't know if it will be strong enough as an everyday tool for professionals, I worked in the painting business for 6 years and the ones we used were sturdier and had a vacuum system on the tip that glued the machine to the ceiling, that was very convenient to sand ceilings and relieve the weight from the arms.     • Very inconsistent on speed and performance
I was looking forward to using the device to keep drywall dust to a minimum and make my work a little easier. It has failed to withstand the first 15 minutes of light sanding without a burning motor smell followed by inconsistent speeds of the rotation sanding apparatus. Pros - Lighting disc really illuminated the area and helps you to identify areas of attention Cons - Motor is burning up after 15 minutes Can't use without duct taping to a vacuum, it won't collect dust otherwise This is a variable speed sander with a dial, but the unit decides on its own what speed it wants to run at I cannot recommend this product. ... show more

    • Great Idea- Impractical design.
Seemed to have good vacuum motor, but Very Loud. It’s heavy, cumbersome and doesn’t really do a good job of catching the sanded material. Pretty good attempts, but needs a new design.

    • Little dusty.
It was great sanded three ceilings came out 96 percent just a little extra with pole sander . What went in bag became filled but a lot went on floor to . But save my back it was worth a little dust to get job done .

Excellent value. Works great. No complaints. If you aren’t at all handy, it might be something you don’t want to mess with. Only wish they had put a grounded plug in so I wouldn’t get shocked when I use it.
