  • Very Surprised on how well this performed.
Size: Dia:20mm FL:50.8mm/2"
This lens is fantastic. I've been using much more expensive lenses in my laser cutter but no more. This lens out cuts and out engraves the pricier ones. Honestly, when I first got it I wasn't too impressed. Although it was very well packaged, the lens appeared to be a little cloudy and I really didn't expect much out of it. However, once I got it in my machine it performed better than I ever would have imagined. I won't be going back to my old lenses. ... show more

  • surprisingly great!
Size: Dia:19mm FL:50.8mm/2"
I used this 19mm ZrSe lens in an Epilog Fusion M2 120W CO2 laser. I really expected it to melt right away but it has done well at full power and 90% duty for quite a few cuts already - no noticeable issues yet! I was quoted almost $400 for a "legit" replacement, so like $25 seems too good to be true! ... show more

  • Instant power up!
Size: Dia:18mm FL:50.8mm/2"
I bought the air assist that allows use of 18mm lens, so I gave this lens a shot, the price is decent and the spec. Looked not much different than the more expensive brands. Got it today with also the mirrors from The same sellers. So I installed it in my K40 laser engraver replacing the stock laser head with the new LO head with air assist with the new lens and mirror. InScrewed up the alignment at first, but after making some adjustment and set power to 10% and test it on a cardboard. BAM! It cut thru the cardboard in one pass while before it only leaves a line! Who knows, maybe the alignment was off before, but I definitely think the lens made a difference, for the quality of the coating on both the lens and mirror are better than the stock. It is a worthy upgrade, now marking on stainless turns out great, really helps serve the purpose of getting the K40 in the first place. ... show more

  • Received Wrong Lens
Size: Dia:18mm FL:50.8mm/2"
The good news: Upon a quick inspection, the lens looked fine. It was a little hazy, but it cleaned up nicely with rubbing alcohol. The bad news: I ordered a 50.8mm focal length lens. The box I received had 50.8mm ticked on the label, but it was a 38mm focal length lens. Fortunately I'd seen a couple of reviews with similar issues, so I measured the focal length before installing it in my laser cutter. I already had a 38mm lens that came with it, so I sent this one back. Measuring the focal length of any converging lens (a lens that can focus a beam) is simple: (1) Make two slits in a thin box so you can slide a ruler straight through the box. Go outside and angle it so that the ruler doesn't cast any shadow on the box. (If you do this around noon, you can get close by standing the ruler straight up and down on a flat surface.) (2) Slide the lens up and down the ruler until you get the brightest/tiniest spot of sunlight on your box. (3) Measure the distance between your lens and the box* - this is the focal length of the lens. *Don't just read where the lens is on the ruler... you must subtract off where the ruler enters the box. ... show more
