This clear tarp isn't for really heavy-duty protection, but it's great for covering anything you want to protect from water or dust that won't be out in bad weather. We will use it in a basement work area where sanding and painting for car restoration is done to protect items from dust and overspray. The plastic isn't really heavy, but adequate and it's nice being able to see through the tarp. The blue fabric reinforcement around the perimeter is wide and sewn nicely. I ordered this product to help protect my concrete work from rain after it is poured. I'm only doing small sections (pavers) at a time and need to protect them from the elements for a couple days. This kit comes with everything you need to tie down the tarp. Great thought put into this. I like the fact that this is see through so I can see what is going on with the concrete under the tarp in my application. If it cleans up well, I will repurpose this for something else afterwards. Funny that the packaging labeled this as a "Painters Drop Sheet". Weird. It's definitely not that but could be used for it, I guess. Great product. ... show more

Using this as a cover for the chickens so when they come out they have a place to eat dry food and hang if it’s raining, without it being too dark underneath like most tarps. It keeps it nice and light for them. It’s very nice thick plastic, so it should last for years if you take care of it. The edging is put on very nicely and will hold up nicely too. This is heavy duty plastic, well made and not flimsy. The pack included all the hardware and attachments that made it easy to set up.
