  • 5 stars for what I want out of a stethoscope...amazing sound clairty and noise reduction...
Color: Navy Blue Tube Material Type: Without EVA Case
For the price ($19US), the quality, the sound, I am amazed and can't believe this product. Mainly used to hear intestinal sounds; the clarity and bold loudness of the scope is shocking. The intestines make some seriously scary noises, at times I thought the howling and groaning of hell was right next to my ears! I checked out five other scopes and tried my friend's Littmann, none came close to this Clairre--for $19 bucks (when I bought it). The chest-piece is hardy, a bit heavy and tough, the scope-head does a very nice job drowning out environmental noise too. As stated the scope head is a bit heavy, but that's not a concern for me, I don't have it hanging around my neck throughout the day. Will be buying another--don't why the price differs from on to another--quality issue--won't know until my next buy. The chest-piece membrane/diaphragm is sensitive and seems more heavy duty than the others I tried. For the price, this product is worth its weight in high valued gold. [This review is not sponsored. I buy all of my products with my own $$$. I like the freedom to say what I need to with no holding back. Ad sponsor--do not contact me.] ... show more

  • Obsessed 😍
Color: Pink Tube Material Type: Without EVA Case
I have been a nurse for almost 10 yrs. I have used countless different stethoscopes of all brands and prices. This hands down has been my favorite by far. It’s sturdy, but flexible. It’s lightweight, but it has quality to it. Not too light where it’s a piece of junk, but not too heavy where it’s weighing your neck down. I love the bell it’s easy to clean and I love that it’s black. The sound quality is perfect. It’s the best sounding stethoscope I ever used. The tubing holds its color, even after countless cleaning episodes. The black stays on the frame. The ear pieces fit perfect and are comfortable. Literally, everything you could want from a stethoscope. My stethoscope has become the floors charity scope. When I’m not there people fight to use it, and guess what I don’t care because it’s 15 bucks and I want everyone to enjoy it like me because I love it so much too. If it breaks or someone steals it oh well! I been rocking this thing for a year and a half and it’s still looking brand new, and that’s with a whole 32 bed unit with countless nurses using it daily. It’s just pure perfection, buy it and change your life girl lol 😆 ... show more

  • Better than the Littmann
Color: Black Tube Material Type: Without EVA Case
I lost my Littmann 3, I got this cause Im tired of the disposable but cheap. This stethoscope is really nice, like really really nice. I have better sound quality with this than my Littmann. I love the single head it’s good for high and low sounds and so easy to use. I work on a cardiology unit so heart sounds are my primary use. I can see how it would be hard for a beginner to use but if you have experience the single head is amazing. It is very light to carry and comfortable to use. I’m exciting to make all my co workers try it. ... show more

  • Needs better diaphragm
Color: Black Tube Material Type: Without EVA Case
Decent build quality, nice ear tips (a little firmer than Littmann). The paint is OK, a little messy, but seems fairly durable. Binaurals are set at a fixed angle and cannot be adjusted. Tubing is pretty standard, not as flexible as I'd like. The weight is ok; the chestpiece is a bit heavy and definitely overkill for such a flimsy diaphragm. They could have removed some excess material or made it out of a lighter alloy. It feels fine in the hand. In terms of acoustics, it's fine for manual BP and acceptable for lung sounds. For heart sounds, it's muddy and muffled. This is mostly due to the poor quality diaphragm, which is a simple piece of plastic (presumably PET) film held by a rubber ring. A high quality diaphragm has a (usually fiber reinforced epoxy) membrane with a rubber suspension that allows it to flex (a "tunable" or "dual frequency" diaphragm). This is crucial for a single-head design, allowing it to perform the functions of both a traditional diaphragm and bell. Using a better diaphragm would probably raise the production cost by a couple dollars, which I suppose is significant at this price range. If this had a tunable diaphragm, it would easily deserve 5 stars. As it is, for the price, it would be fine for casual use outside of clinical practice. ... show more

Color: Green Tube Material Type: Without EVA Case
I’ve owned several expensive stethoscopes and they have all been lost. Thought I would take a chance and buy a less expensive one knowing it may walk off. This thing is great! The sound quality is better than my Littman. I can’t speak for durability as I just received it. It also comes with a name badge, which is a great bonus! ... show more
