The media could not be loaded. This is a very good deal. This bike is fun to ride, looks neat and has more than sufficient range for my needs/uses. Assembly was a breeze as the bike is shipped approx 90% assembled and the bike is made of good quality, high durability steel (this means it's a bit heavy.) Top speed is listed at 28 and that is about as fast as I got it to go(28.5mph). Has a cruise control feature which is very neat and fairly easy to engage (at least, for me). The battery is just a touch under 750wh, I rode 30 miles in my initial test ride and had zero worries about range. This battery will provide about 35 miles of range in mode 4(22mph) with just the throttle, pedaling extends that. Overall, a great deal on a solid bike, cheap enough to buy "just because" but functional/effective enough to be stoked you bought it. ... show more

As an avid ebike enthusiast who frequently trades and restores bikes, I have to say that the Tomobyke Cityscape 2.0, C20 stands out as one of the best rides I’ve had. It strikes the perfect balance between power, versatility, and style, making it ideal for all kinds of terrains and weather conditions. However, there’s one issue that could easily be addressed by the manufacturer to make this already incredible bike even better: clear, easily visible motor wattage markings. While the hub motor does technically have wattage markings, they aren’t clear enough for law enforcement to quickly verify on the side of the road. In my experience, when an officer pulls you over, they often struggle to find the markings or misunderstand the bike’s specifications. I’ve had to deal with this firsthand, and even though my bike is completely legal as a class 2 ebike with a 750W motor (within New Jersey’s ebike regulations), the officer had a hard time locating the marking and assumed the motor exceeded the legal limit because online specs often show the peak wattage of 1500W. A Simple Fix: Sticker or Etched Markings I’d strongly recommend that Tomobyke consider adding more prominent, clear wattage markings on the hub motor. A simple sticker or etched indication of “Class 2 Ebike” and the 750W motor rating would save riders a lot of headaches and make it easy for law enforcement to quickly verify the bike’s compliance. The current setup could easily be mistaken, leading to unnecessary tickets and confusion. A clear, permanent label would help avoid these issues entirely, ensuring that officers don’t misinterpret the bike’s legal status on the spot. An All-Terrain Powerhouse Now, onto the good stuff—this bike is an absolute powerhouse, perfectly suited for both on-road commuting and off-road adventures. While it’s legally capped at 20mph using throttle-only, with pedal assist and the 7-speed gearbox, you can comfortably hit speeds of up to 28mph. The extra wattage may seem like overkill, but trust me, when you’re tackling steep inclines or riding in wet or loose terrain, that motor power becomes invaluable. The 4-inch wide tires provide stability and grip no matter the conditions, making this bike a true all-weather performer. One thing to note is that for those who are a bit more adventurous, you can unlock the speed limiter by tweaking the settings on the display. But be careful! While it’s thrilling to ride this bike at higher speeds, especially off-road, it’s important to keep in mind that doing so can void your warranty and make the bike less stable at max speeds. At 220 lbs, I’ve pushed this bike to 38 mph on hard-packed ground, and it’s an absolute beast! A Perfect Fit for Older Riders One of the reasons I love this bike is its step-through frame. As an older rider, it’s become harder for me to lift my leg over high-seated bikes, especially ones with a more motorcycle-inspired design like the V8 Fat Bike. I used to feel pretty awkward trying to get on and off those bikes, but the C20’s step-through frame is a lifesaver. It’s easy to mount and dismount, all while keeping the stylish, sleek look that I’ve come to love in ebikes. It’s an ideal design for riders of all ages, especially those who may have mobility challenges. The Confusion with Traded Bikes In my dealings with ebike trades and restorations, I’ve often come across bikes where the owners were ticketed because their hub motors appeared to exceed legal limits. Time and again, I’ve found that the motors were actually 500W or 750W, well within legal bounds for a class 2 ebike. The real issue? The markings were unclear, and they hadn’t properly reset their controllers to keep the bike street legal. It’s frustrating because these bikes were totally fine to ride, but a little confusion about motor wattage ended up costing the rider. This is another reason why clear wattage markings would be a game-changer—not just for new Tomobyke riders, but for anyone who might end up trading or reselling the bike down the line. Making it easy to identify and reset the motor to its legal specs would help riders avoid unnecessary tickets and keep them confidently on the road. In Conclusion The Tomobyke Cityscape 2.0, C20 is easily one of the most well-rounded ebikes on the market today. It offers the power, comfort, and all-terrain capability that riders need while staying within legal limits for a class 2 ebike. The hydraulic brakes, wide tires, and powerful motor make it perfect for both commuting and off-road adventures, and the step-through frame is ideal for older or less mobile riders. My only request is that Tomobyke makes the motor wattage markings clearer and more visible, so riders don’t have to face confusion with law enforcement. It’s a small fix that could make a world of difference for us all. I’m eagerly waiting for a deal on Amazon to pick up a brand-new one, but shipping costs are holding me back for now. If Tomobyke or Amazon could offer free or discounted shipping, I’d jump on it in a heartbeat. All in all, this bike is super cool, groovy, and the closest thing to my childhood Road Runner bike—only with more power and way more style. This is my second ebike,it is really easy to ride and charge,even a little heavey.its battery could run further than other city bike, no worry about power off on working way.considering there is about 25 miles to my working place.Light is bright in night riding.
