  • Great for skin graft scars
I had to have a skin graft on my ankle from a burn. It is healed but the scar is still recovering and very dark/ vascular in some areas. The cream is thick and moisturizing, I was surprised this cream has a slight tint of light skin color in it and helps cover some of the discoloration. It is very convenient that you can layer products over this. After the recommended 5 minute drying time, it is still pretty tacky but if you blot it down after 6-7 minutes it is less tacky. I am then able to layer my silicone gel over the top. If I am going to be in the sun I still put HY-Tape over it for extra sun protection. I highly recommend this to other large area scar patients! ... show more

  • Questionable if this really works!
I think this is meant to be used immediately after a scar appears when the wound has healed to prove that this is really effective. Otherwise, year old scars may not improve anymore as it is built into the skin. I am still using it just to see and since I already have it. I will update this review should I see any improvement in my scar which is about a little less than a year old. ... show more

  • Great sun protection for sensitive scars!
I ordered this product after looking for a lower cost alternative to higher-end specialty sunblock for 4 large scars I have on my legs where the skin is very thin and sensitive. This applies really easily, leaves a thick coat that can be seen if you look close enough, but isn't white or greasy like other specialty sunscreens. The container is small, which I love, because I can keep it with me at all times to be covered when unexpected times in the sun happen. Since it's only applied on scars, I don't imagine I'll go through this small container quickly, so it appears to be a good deal for the price so far! ... show more

  • Bought because it is silicone based and contains sunscreen
After using maderma with sunscreen for several weeks I decided to try this product. I bought it because it is silicone based and also has sunscreen. My daughter had a deep cut on the bridge of her nose and had stitches. Due to the location, sunscreen was important to me. This product is much thicker and leaves a white appearance on the skin. I feel like it will stay on and last longer than the maderma. It is hard to say yet how well it works since we have only been using for a couple weeks. ... show more

  • A little dab'll do ya
I'd used a sports block that wasn't covering my scar well enough to keep it from discoloring. This is a total 'white out' and no sun gets through at all. If having 'white' show, you will not want to buy this. I use it daily on a TLKR scar and am very happy with it.

  • Works great but leaves white residue.
Used it to cover a new scar when tanning and on vacation. Worked good under my swimsuit but the consistency is kind of thick and white so not sure how it would look if it wasn't covered.

  • Good sunscreen for your scars
Texture is a bit sticky, gotta massage well onto the scars otherwise it looks very white if you don’t blend well. I used this for the chicken pox scars on my face. Only been using this for a week, can’t test its scars healing efficiency yet. However, it does seem like it does a good job as scars sunscreen. Will update results again in a month ... show more
