I go to bed early because I have to be up at 2:30am every morning. Since it has been stay light out longer I was having a hard time falling asleep. I search Amazon and found these curtains and now I need a damn night light to find my way through the room in the middle of the night to pee and when I get up to leave. I sleep furthest from the door( where the light switch is) and my boyfriend is a light sleeper so the light would most definitely wake him. My bedroom is a beautiful purpley blue color with dusty blue and green accents, so when I was looking for curtains I decided on a light gray to not distract from the beauty. I work the graveyard shift so when I saw these in a light color and they were blackout I was stoked. They arrived on time and well packaged, putting them up was a breeze and the are the perfect size for our bedroom window. Good quality, fairly thick material. I’d say the texture was right in line with other more expensive options for blackout curtains. But I believe it really only blocks out about 75% of the light. Which is disappointing to me. I love how silky the product is and how easy it was to set up. I didn't think they would be very blackout, but my room practically looks like the night with those curtains up! I love it! I occasionally work nights in a hospital and will have to sleep during the day. Let me tell you, these curtains fully block out all sunlight and are a true blackout option. This is the first pair of blackout curtains I have had at this price point that worked this well. They are true to color and seem to be made of durable material that does not wrinkle. I have been able to throw these in the washer and dryer without any shrinkage or wrinkling. The only issue I have had is one of the curtains had a broken grommet, where the metal piece came out of the hole. However, this was after months of use and to be honest, I just use it without the little metal piece and it works just fine. For this price point, cannot beat it! ... show more
