I used with my Cricut Explore Air 2. I did not need any other tool or adapter for it to fit in the holder. I followed the instructions that came with it. I did a multicut. You definitely need to use a strong sticky mat. I colored over it with an enamel marker, let it sit for a minute, then rubbed off
the excess so the marker inside the engraved wording remained to give contrast. This worked great for our TopGun party.

Works as intended but must use the settings listed on the directions only
This Chomas etching/engraving Precision tip worked well in the Cricut maker for engraving acrylic disks. The engravings were sufficiently deep and clear with one "cut". However, you must use the exact settings recommended in the directions that comes with this tip or the Maker will not recognize the
tip and won't work. I could have purchased the actual Cricut engraving tip then just used the regular Cricut settings for engraving but I saw this tool recommended on a few different videos. However, I don't know what the difference is in performance between this Chomas tool and the actual Cricut engraving tip. I'm reading that this Chomas tip has a finer point and therefore can do finer engraving but I can't verify this claim myself.

perfect for Cricut Explorer
Bought this to make Tracing stencils from Dollar tree cutting mats for my grandson. It did an excellent job. Will be engraving some acrylics soon. will update the review when done.

This little blade does exactly as it promised, it engraved as I wanted. The instructions are super simple, if you don't follow them, then... Well, I don't know... I followed and am super happy. I have an Explore Air 2. No need to trade up.

Is a life saver for anyone who cricuts with an explore 1 or 2 being it doesn't come with engraving option. If u play with custom settings. I was encouraged 2 use after warranty is up on cricut, idk why but either way it works well. Crafts look have such a professional look. So great full for whoever
came with this idea for this tool.

Works in Air Explorer 2 and the Maker
Used this in both Air explorer 2 and the Maker. Works in both. We engraved 1/16" acrylic blanks and a dog tag. We followed the instructions that came with the tip. There is a learning curve like taping down the material.

Engraves acrylic very well... Although i messed up my acrylic... it was only because the acrylic was thicker than the cricut could handle load. Use under 2mm acrylic and things will be fine. LOL
