It looks really good in the photos….it’s not thick. Let me be clear: if you have an uncomfortable mattress this will not make it better UNLESS your only issue is the heat retention in your mattress. It’s about as thick as a Walmart comforter so it doesn’t change the feel of your bed. What it does do is breathe. I have a foam mattress and slept like crap. I’d get out of bed, Come back a few minutes later and my bed was still hot from where I slept! I’ve had this for two nights and it’s awesome. Love the coziness of the fiber plumpness in this topper. The squares are just the right size to contain it through a night of sleeper’s rolling over several times — hence, no shifting or piling of the fiber. The square size keeps the fiber’s space controlled. Compression, though, does occur so I recommend throwing back the covers in the morning and letting fresh air replump the fiber. You might also fluff it up a bit before making the bed, just as the manufacturer suggested be done when the packaging is opened. ... show more

Queen size. Very comfortable; about an inch of filler in 1 foot panels; easily fits on my 14 inch thick mattress and stays in place. No evidence of degradation after half dozen cycles in the dryer to freshen. Would buy again.
