ABSOLUTELY worth $30! The last swings I ordered had a smell, and this one does not, thank goodness. It's very soft and sturdy. The pictures of the blue look more royal blue in some and straight up turquoise in another. I was excited to see the blue bag it came, thinking the swing would match and actually be royal blue....but not so. The swing is turquoise all day every day. That being said, the swing itself is outstanding and exactly what I wanted, with room to hold up a head and feet. I'm 5'9" for reference. Oh and we assembled it in about 1 minute, which includes being able to just use our previous swing doohickey. ... show more

This is adorable. I added some flower garland to make it even more cute. It’s the centerpiece of my little outdoor oasis. However, it does function more as a chaise lounge than a chair and doesn’t have much back support if you want to sit up, but even so, it’s quite comfortable. You can stretch all the way out, and it’s almost like being stuck in a basketball hoop haha.. it hangs a little low to the ground, but that hasn’t been a problem so far. It does arrive with an odor, but nothing a little Febreze can’t fix. I do think that it is probably a bit too delicate to leave outside all the time or to withstand rain or Texas sun, but it’s light enough to be able to just bring it inside and store it in a closet when it’s not being used. ... show more

Arrived today, I snapped the top bar within seconds and attached the hammock within a minute. I’m currently writing this review as I sit with my legs extended out fully in the hammock chair!! Exactly what I was looking for, hammock style with the convenience of hanging on a rope. I didn’t want the conventional hammock which requires a hammock stand or two trees.
